  1. Simon Kelly says:

    Love it great advice

  2. I was a 9 handicap playing player’s irons, then I switched to game improvement clubs. Now I am a 4 handicap and 8 iron is my longest iron then hybrids! Never going back!

  3. Love those Cleveland clubs. Great video. Don’t understand why you don’t have more subscribers. Congrats on losing some weight, looking very fit.

  4. Steve McCoy says:

Bought a set of Halo’s a year ago and I’ll never play traditional cavity back irons ever again.

  5. owensy says:

crazy that this game is expensive to others, went from dirtbikes to this. your entire bag of clubs (top quality) and a membership (to your local course) still doesnt even equate to the initial purchase of a dirtbike let alone safety gear, mech costs or even just your track days and race fee's

  6. David Nobbs says:

In which another pro golfer who has no problem hitting irons tells us all how easy it is to hit (insert iron brand here) irons.

  7. Robert Court says:

I have used launcher type irons in the past and they didnt make me any better. If your path, face and ground contact are incorrect then your bal isnt flying straight down the middle 😂.
I found improvement in high lofted hybrids and fairways and getting on the course as much as possible.

  8. I love my LaunchPads

  9. David Bozic says:

Students quit mainly because they are not honestly told of how many thousands of repetitions it takes just to become adequate.😺

  10. So, 191% of people in the UK gave up golf?

  11. Robert Lynch says:

As always, thanks Simon. Also, looking svelte. The gym time is paying dividends. Cheers!

  12. Steve Hannah says:

Thank you Simon. Golf is expensive. Most beginning golfers don't know how hard this game is and become frustrated. Why don't they seek instruction? It's expensive also. I hope beginning golfers could all get at least several lessons anyway to have get some basics about what they are doing.

  13. JULES DOWNER says:

i really enjoyed that . Thankyou

  14. Jeppe says:

I'll be honest, I play of 20, and I'm 29 years old and absolutely counting on getting better. But for some reason, I really want a set of Cleveland Turbos / Cleveland Launcher Halo XL's just to make it as easy for me as possible.

  15. Kolchak357 says:

I see the new Cleveland Launcher XL Halo irons are on sale at many places. Listed as closeout on some web sights.
Does anyone know if they are releasing a new model of these?

  16. JiKimbo says:

Great video Simon. Some really good points here. I mistakenly bought some irons aimed at mid handicappers but soon realised I'd made a mistake and got some GI irons as I'm new to golf. Broke 100 for the first time last week and got my handicap down to 24.3 👍

  17. Phil G says:

I have had 3 sets of Cleveland Turbo's and my latest ones are the Launcher XL Halo and I love them so easy to hit it's almost like cheating , anyone who needs help on the course take a look at these and when you hit the green and put out for a birdie who cares what they look like .

  18. MrStevie57 says:

I find practicing I can hit good shots but playing I can't get into the same groove because I am not hitting the same club every shot.

I know someone will fight me in the comments. But I see so many newer golfers, especially younger players, obsessed with using blades! They wear their failure like a badge of honor in a vague attempt to say it makes them better ball strikers, which it doesn’t! It’s like a person who wants to get into auto racing, but thinks that their first laps should be in a Formula One car. This game is hard enough. You should make it as easy as possible and the clubs are a huge part of that not looking cool. I definitely could have went with a set of P7MCs when I got fitted last year. I intentionally went with the 770s because I want that extra help on missed shots.

  20. The best thing a high handicap could do to improve is take the 60 out of the bag and throw it away.

  21. Name me a better youtuber for golf! Fantastic video and literally what was happening to me over the last 2 years. Great advice on setup if like me, anyone hit it right when they started. Keep them coming! 👏🏻👏🏻

  22. Suffice to say, the acquisition of a 6 & 7 hybrid has changed my golf (along with your instruction). Yes, they look just like your Cleveland's, but they work, and if ever you have struggled with chipping, 7-hybrid is the answer (don't laugh Simon!!!). It's perfect. Golf has been fun this year and, I'm at least holding my own, prize money wise to date this year!!!! I keep threatening that I'll be back! I'll be in touch!!!

  23. Big Johny says:

Should have added mentos into diet coke for the analogy 😉

    Great video though
I gave up golf after being crap and took up darts
    Still crap at both

  24. SAS Golf says:

Thanks for watching guys! Let me know what tip helped you from giving up the game!?
