CRUSH YOUR 3 WOOD FROM THE FAIRWAY! Every single time!

FAIRWAY WOOD OFF THE DECK! We need to nail this, we know these clubs are just hard to hit, so I talk through a simple tip that will help you crush your 3 wood from the fairway every single time.

I often see golfers scoop the golf club because they don’t see a lot of lot at address, this doesn’t produce good results! So how do you hit woods off the fairway? This is KEY. We are stopping you from topping fairway woods and looking at starting to hit them further and more consistently?

Rip your 3 wood, nail your 3 wood from the fairways. We will be striking your 3 wood and getting the 3 wood brushing the golf ball. Smash your 3 wood today with this simple drill. STRAIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE.

Great video Alex. I have tried this and it has improved my game. But I struggle with my 5 wood on different lies, that is upslope, downslope, ball above and below feet. Please help what adjustments I should make

  3. sheldon127 says:

Good thought to be staying flat through the ball longer.

  4. Alan Evans says:

Could you make a video on how to keep water obstacles from getting into your head and resulting in a poor strike? I typically hit the ball poorly whatever I face a water obstacle, and the ball usually goes exactly where I’m attempting to avoid…the water. Enjoying your tips! Keep up the great work!

I focused on this drill today, with that extra bit of time staying down on the ball I smashed it. Oh what a feeling!

Low and long is one of my swing thoughts

  7. Mark Preston says:

Great tip to try as I struggle with the fairway wood. What happened to the two tees you put either side of the ball?

  8. I’ll give this a practice because I need to get that arc closer to the deck,Doses this work for 5 woods also?

  9. Can you please do some more videos on specialty shots: uphill/downhill/sidehill, close behind trees, calculate winds, bunker lips, ball deep in gorse ? Thanks !

  10. This is really helpful

  11. yeah i like it. never can join a club that would have me as a member !

  12. Perfect timing. I just started learning to use my fairway wood as something besides a small driver.

  13. Some game playing to show strategies and what clubs you would use ?

  14. Alex much better pace ! Good stuff

  15. Mark Oda says:

That makes a lot of sense. I am very inconsistent with my 3 wood but love the club when it's (I'm) working. Sadly, my 3 wood has been in "time out" for a while. Back to the range to try your tip!

  16. Simone Foley says:

Love this tip it’s as simple as that!

  17. MrMukesht says:

Great instruction. I will try it on the range tomorrow.
I am not a long driver so my second shot is nearly always a fairway wood. I usually take a 5 wood as cannot hit a 3 wood. Accepting for the movement I have to use 5 wood, what should be my ball position? I usually have it 1 club head. Also if in the rough should I move the ball back in my stance because too often I miss the fairway. Please help

Alex your videos are great, thank you

  18. James Roy says:

The average golfer doesn't give a hoot about the angle of the4 club as it comes down. You do way too much talking and less action Just show us how to hit the frigging ball

  19. Beryl Wright says:

    Great tip. Thanks

  20. John Murphy says:

Gotta try this at the driving range

  21. Do you recommend the 3wood out of the rough

  22. I can’t reach par 5’s anymore I’m thinking about getting a 5 wood instead of using my 3 wood .

  23. Very interesting. Must remember this on Saturday

  24. Il! Look to try this tomorrow

  25. Great reminder. I’ll hope this will stop me sliding into old habits

  26. A Lundberg says:

Sick golf bag! Which manufacture is that?

  27. This is my biggest struggle at the moment. I can't hit 3w off the deck so even if I want to go for the green in 2 on par 5s I'm not able to. Thanks for the tip Alex!

  28. I never use my 3 wood, just cannot strike it well at all, will try this but as per previous comment, where is the ball position in relation to the stance please ?

  29. Hya Alex can only practice from an indoor mat any thing you can do for me there really struggling with my three wood
