    Interesting 👍💯

  5. Michael has always wanted a range-finder. Eye-balling distances is something he says he could get better at, and I reckon with a few days pinging near every distant object and guessing how far it is I bet you could get pretty good. Such neat gadgets!

  6. Very Nice John! I’m hoping you have a Snow update soon as well!

  7. That's a great review but like your other commenters, I'd be concerned about the battery life. Thanks for sharing John and have a blessed rest of the week my friend.

  9. Looks like a good option. Would be a good gift for a golfer.

They contacted me a few weeks ago and said they would send me a camera. When I agreed they said it would have to wait till after the holiday (I assume lunar new year) but I haven't heard back. My season ends soon so I hope they hurry. It's a shame that thing only measures speed in Kilometers.

  12. 21st Aprove. It doesn't come with an extra battery.

  13. Packs-a-lot says:

Bummer that you had to buy a battery from the get go. I never thought about using one for golfing. I've used them for hunting before. Nice job on the review. Have a great day, John.

  14. Too bad about the battery. Would have been interested to see if it was really accurate out to 800 yards. If it is, that's a pretty good value for $70.

  15. John Ames says:

Great job buddy on the review

  16. Nice first look and review! Sucks about the battery. But, it looked like a rechargeable battery. It probably isn’t but wanted to make sure it just didn’t need charged.

  17. John, this range finder is nice for the novice user who doesn’t want to spend a fortune on this type of gear. Blessings, Rob

  18. aiay says:

This is really nice John. Great review👍🏻

  19. I've had a nikon rangefinder for over a decade..don't use it a ton…but it helped me learn and to estimate ranges very accurately in real conditions.

  20. Jeff Jackson says:

Nice looking range finder. That sucks that the battery was bad out if the box.

  21. Jack and Dan says:

That’s neat man never used one but it would definitely be cool to

  22. Good review John! Glad you found a replacement battery. 👍

  23. Aww thats great john awesome unboxing review KEEP on going take care have a hreat week

  24. JV Outdoors says:

Never heard of them before. but i like the tripod adaptor

  25. I'm with ya on the battery part, man that would get costly in a hurry especially if it eats up the battery fast. Other than that looks like a good piece of gear. Just two more miles!

  26. Interesting piece of gear if you need one. ✌
