How to Separate the Lower and Upper Body in the Golf Swing

All the parts of the body must work in isolation in order to integrate together as a whole. Rather than working together which is what we observe in a more effortful, perhaps rigid swing. Here Brad is showing us how it’s done and we’re grateful to him for letting us share his lesson with you guys!

  1. This is next level coaching – instead of mindless drills he gets students to realize what the club wants to do and then work backwards to achieve that movement. Great stuff!

How do we get the GRF system in USA?!

  3. Do you have any more videos regarding the leverage developed. Similar to the drill at the 8"00 mark

  4. WOW! doing this two club drill gave me the feel of the swing and its actually shallowing on its own now. Amazing Thanks!

No Golf coach can come close to your knowledge and articulation Marcus!
So grateful: you have saved this old Aussie from the depths of despair.

  6. Anthony V says:

That's very clever how you show how both hands sequencing with circles . As you demonstrate the body sequence so brilliantly , i stumbled upon this [maybe] method to help connect with horizontal and vertical, ground up , forces . Tights[cold down under ] under my tracksuit bottoms for me gives more feel to remember the sequence . Haven't tried any skin tight tops but ,whatever works .Impressive, big thanks

  11. Love it! πŸŠπŸŒπŸ¦…πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²β€οΈ

  13. This is beginning to sound like a broken record, but here goes, what a fantastic lesson, again. You boys are the best teachers on YouTube Marcus, you and the Zen staff, are teach us how to really play golf with freedom. I learn so much from your videos, it blows my mind what crap others are teaching. Keep up the excellent work. Cheers from across the pond, in Arizona.

I have ownedGRF SYSTEM for about a year and in the words of Brad Marcus you have changed my golfing life! I am 72 years old n have gone from a 13.2 to a 9.6 in the last 6 mos. Irons n fairway woods have improved tremendously. If I could just pick up some yardage with driver . I don’t feel like I’m getting the appropriate yardage compared to irons.
    Thanks so much Marcus!

You can't possibly understand the absolute perfect timing of this video for me personally 🀣 I am so glad when a video releases from you absolute geniuses, especially covering things I've been attempting to 'feel' forever now. Love this, I think I need to schedule a lesson, one of best golf instruction channels on the platform.

I find it incredible that golf instruction has been so wrong for so long. Marcus is a breath of fresh air.

The ideas and how Brad questioned his old feelings about position during a hit bang in for so many if us. He still looked to my untrained eyes to be upper body swinging at the end. Jumping from foot to foot is a good practice before hitting!
