The MK8 Golf GTI is a controversial one. It’s dividing owners around its looks, lack of a major power bump and a frustrating interior. However, the basics of what makes the GTI brilliant to own and drive have been perfected. I spent a whole week with the new GTI to see if it’s still worth spending $60,000 on this hot hatch.

    Getting pricey and needs to separate the air heating/conditioning controls in the next upgrade.

  5. VW screwed up the user interface with this one. I hope they learned a lesson.

  6. It's classic in appearance, but searching for basic functions within a screen should not be allowed whilst driving, it is good looking though 😊

    One of the most boring cars ever built 😄 visually the cupra Leon and Audi S3 have way more to offer. The i30n has more emotion, the A35 has better built quality and interior design…
