The very end is probably the only time Nikko's had an attitude about something and I'll back it. Unless it was clearly stated in the caddy book that out of bound shots have to proceed to the drop zone then by PDGA rule Paul could absolutely retea from the tee pad. instead
This whole video is like a typical round of disc golf with my wife.
In Paul's case wouldn't him deciding to retee instead of going to the drop zone count as a misplay and thus causing him to lose a stroke?

Joel is always doing this kind of stuff, I have no respect for him anymore.
Regarding the last clip. Have the rules changed since then? Currently you always have an opportunity to abandon a shot and re-throw from the same lie. I don't think any tournament rules can deny you this opportunity, so you can re-tee as many times as you want. I'm with Nico, unless the rules were different at the time.
Kyles play should have been a 2. Doesnt matter if provisional was not called. Common sense should prevail.
Especially if the spotter called this one out.

I wonder, in Kyle's case, at what point can it be said, that it's a group decision.
The spotter shows the red flag, your groupmates say something like: "Bad luck, you are OB". Does it then count as a group decision, the actual position of a disc no longer matters, so your play from a DZ is no longer a missplay (and in that case it would have saved a stroke). Like how official should a declaration be?
To be clear, a few of these are not misplays. Joel OB shot wasn't, neither was Paige missed mando, or Cat throwing from ob area. All three of these comes down to a group decision. In Joel's case, the group decided he touched in bounds and a spotter confirmed that. There is no reason for him to have to rethrow. With Paige, that tiny rope that signifies the top of the mando can be very hard to determine if the disc flew above, or below the rope if its real close. Group decided she made the mando, spotter confirmed, so no misplay. And with Cat playing from her ob mark. If you can't find the disc, and the group agrees it went into an ob area. You play from an approximate point of last in bounds. She threw from the point that group decided was her last in bounds spot.
