Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!

I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.

On YouTube and my personal website ( I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.

Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble

I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

I notice Danny keeps his feet closer together to promote more rotation and at impact his hips open up.

    2. An instructor whom allows us to see his occasional duffs, are the best instructors in my opinion. My golf club has two different types of golf instructors: Those that won't demonstrate for their students for fear of looking bad, and those that will risk this. If you have that much fear, your not good enough to be teaching me!

    3. Wedges have different “flanges” which surely impacts the way you approach these shots?

    4. Worland55 says:

This is an excellent video, the moving the target from ball to landing spot is so simple, yet so pivotal

    5. Randy Ryser says:

Danny, I play on a course where you never chip from a level lie…how does one compensate for severe uphill, downhill, ball above or below you feet lies?

    6. Love that you keep the 'blooper' shots in the videos. Everybody misses, even the pro's; I think it's important for the amateurs to see that it happens to you guys too!

    7. phil suys says:

It appears to me that you are cocking your wrists as a pitch shot yet you are explaining chip shots which you suggested just a backward/forward hinge. Please help me understand

    8. Thanks Danny for always being the best coach online I have met. I watched the other video on chipping you recommended 9-iron over the 56-wedge which I have found absolutely used. My scores has dropped significantly using 9 iron around the green. In this video it seems you are recommending 56-iron, I am I missing a key message on their uses?

Thanks Danny. Been looking for more short game videos of yours

    10. Becky Fritz says:

Love this! I try too hard and try to slap at the ball so it hops up instead of tossing it up with the club. I try too hard. This makes a lot of sense.

Hi, yr video was shooted in Jan.! Keep up yr great work. Always pleasure to share your insights. I restarted to play golf on last summer. My present hcp is after 4 months playing woth some 15 score rounds ended up in October to 22, ( from 54) and hopefully the trend on this new season ahead continues to fall. Speed can slow down a bit, but… Surely the direction is there. Let you know how when my hcp will be under 10. Haha. Your tips are part of any success achieved.

    12. Brian Scott says:

Watching an advanced player who never makes a mistake always makes me suspicious. Love to see Danny make the same, albeit rare for him, error. Great instruction!

    13. Jim B says:

Danny, on the mud shot over the bunker are you using a 56 degree SW or something else? On normal chips do you suggest using various clubs or 7, 8, 9, pw…

    14. Thank you for sharing. I have just learned Dave Pelz’s method of the shaft lean and back off the right foot. I am changing to your method….seems more reasonable to me.

    15. Danny this seems to contradict your other chipping session where you advocate "popping the butt of the club up"

    16. Perfect Danny! I've gone from the best chipper in our group to shanking, fluffing, thinning – no flight at all. Just watched this and been out in the garden, I can chip again!! (no broken windows yet) Looking forward to Sunday's game now. Thanks again. Howard

    17. You are definitely good at teaching, explaining and demonstrating exactly what you trying to teach! But – is it really necessary to have the captions right across the ball position? Exactly where the ball striking action is?

    18. Vette Maniac says:

Thanks to this, I'll be much more comfortable bunting my shot into the bunker …

    19. Do you have any videos for chipping on uphill or down hill lies?

    20. Robyn Brown says:

Hi Danny Paul Levier from Australia here! Could this short game technique using the right hand be integrated into a full swing eg Driver?

    21. You only have it half right. Despite Little Poison telling it like it is 50 years ago.

    22. Dave B says:

      I dont believe in Paul…..

    23. Debbie Stahl says:

I love how you summarize the key points at the end of the video. Great reminder that the ball isn't the target!

    24. Frank Lynch says:

That duff made me laugh thanks for keeping it real…love it.

    25. Evan Green says:

Danny is so authentic and real. I’d love to play 18 holes with him. He has a great personality.

    26. This seems like a shift from your pendulum method from a few years back. A lot more body movement. Have you changed your approach to chip shots?

    27. Ron_Google says:

So obvious now that you outline it! So from now on, all my practice swings (any shot really) get smooth and swing with my brain thinking finish to the "TARGET"- around, high, SMOOOTH. Thanks Danny!

    28. dennis kline says:

I don't know how many times I have seen this video, I have to smile each time. You are human. We all screw up once in awhile.

    29. Jim B says:

Danny, on the mud shot over the bunker are you using a 56 degree SW or something else? On normal chips do you suggest using various clubs or 7, 8, 9, pw…

    30. Matski says:

So glad that your first ball went into the bunker because that is exactly what happens to 99% of amateur golfers and sometimes no matter how much I practice the same shot and I think I have it nailed, that’s what happens.

    31. Hey danny, can i ask what loft of wedge were you using here? Is it easier to use a 54 than a 58 from this distance would you say?

    32. I find it very difficult to chip. I really wish I would become very good at it. Thanks for the video Danny

    33. How do I get a virtual lesson please Danny ? I’ve seen somewhere that you do this. Regards. Gary Cornforth

    34. Frank Skuse says:

When you start please tell us what club you are using first, thank you, you are a great teacher
