Sure there's kvd stuff out there in marketing but bill dance has been doing the same thing for decades longer. Jimmy and Roland as well but not quite as recognized by the general public. Shoot even Wally Marshall probably matches kvd marketing product.
Are we sure where not getting played lmao? Do u think he's gonna come to Bass next year and fish for good with his legends exemption
Your saying to be the greatest you have to do the same as others before….. why . I think Jacobi wheeler 😂 play half the field with jumping around, sand baging . Skills what makes greats of any profession titles .
Great insight from the both of you on KVD and his career and retirement, and great show overall! KVD is obviously the greatest tournament fisherman of all time, there's no true argument against that anymore. He's so far and away ahead of everyone else that nobody comes close and nobody else probably ever will. That being said, one sneaky pick for who might be the next guy to have a halfway decent chance to come close one day would be Michael Neal. He has been one of the hottest anglers on the planet the last few years and he's been doing it on 2 different tours instead of just one.
Great show! Sad to see KVD retire but glad he's going out on his own terms and still as one of the very best anglers in the world! KVD is undisputedly the greatest tournament angler of all time, and always will be! 🐐
KVD will be back in the elites by 25, he’s still too good to hang it up.
Miliken should never call KVD by his first name it makes home look like an even bigger deusche. I didn’t even know that was possible
Greetings from the BIG SKY. Yeah, I thought about it, Jordan still gets my vote.
I think knowing their weights adds to the event for the spectators. I also like their live coverage format.
…. And anything else we want to talk about. You should bring it back, though I’m not here for bowling
So, what if KVD surprises everyone and goes thru the opens and comes back to BASS?🤔
Can you use an aqua view during a tournament?
Yo Panger, is BTL not gonna be on Spotify anymore?
Is BTL not on Spotify anymore?
The angler has to be well liked and respected among the peer anglers as well, just like KVD. I’d say Jordan Lee has that right now.
If BP can win a classic then I pick him. He is just so consistent year in and year out and has hot streaks where you can bet on him to top 10 easily.
Sorry Wheeler, he is a heck of a fisherman but too much smoke billowing around him around polygraphs and such and doesn’t seem to be well liked.
Then the league matters too. BPT with 40 scales isn’t as reliable for competition and with 40 different officials, clearly too much human element involved around rules infractions and weighing fish. It is what it is, they are the other league atm.
I wish the NPFL could attract some more top talent, maybe they will, but they have had some hiccups. I’d like to see an agreement with them and BASS where the AOY can fish the next Elite Season.
imagine having this easy of a job
Who is the biggest Ben Millikan Fan BOy?
Jordan is just more likable as well 😂
Here is my deal with mlf format. 40 scales and 40 different weigh masters. In a sport where ounces matter I don’t think it’s good. And as mlf has shown their scales are not all the same.
I have to agree with you, Matt, that my vote would also go to Jordan Lee now that KVD is quitting.
KVD will always be a champion in my eyes, he taught me how to be a smallmouth bass fisherman. Turning a trout guy into a bass guy is very hard to do. He, did it.
It is very weird when a guy 'retires' from competition. I have always looked at 'quitting' as withdrawing from competition when I knew there were others that could win now, and it's their turn to win. Tournament fishing is very tough on any guy trying to excel. I quit downhill racing when I was 30, I found that despite 'wanting' to win, I no longer could compete with the youth of the sport. It was their turn. KVD taught me how to hunt smallies, for that I'm very grateful. I caught them, too.
