I take on Matt Fryer in a 9 hole match at Formby Ladies Golf Club. Matt is giving me an extra shot on every hole. Will I be able to beat him with this advantage?

My first comment was after the 3rd hole. You had him worried. You held your own until the last 2 holes. Very proud of you and congrats on getting a popular YouTuber on your channel. He seems to be a very nice man.
I'll go look at his channel for your front 9 match.
hey Luke it looks as though your alignment with driver is slightly off – hence you keep hitting it off the toe. Worth getting Matt's opinion
Nice to see fellow you tubers meeting up ⛳
I sub to both and great to see the love you're getting in his channel too. Up & Down is up there as one of my two favourite golf channels on YT (the other being Bad Golf) and it's amazing to be here at the ground floor and watch your channel rise Luke. I need to be here when Fents and Woody finally hit a draw! 😀
Great Collab, love Mr Fryer. Hopefully brings you a load of new fans to the channel
Yet another great video, very funny, played well Luke against Matt, who’s next?
Luke you need to play a round and commit to one thing….keeping your body down until you’ve made contact with the ball. 👍🏼👍🏼
That is one ugly course!
What a cool video to see on this channel. Well done Luke
Luke you are always aiming to the right, I need to correct your aiming the ball is going exactly where you are hitting it especially on the last hole
Great video Luke. Awesome to see Matt Fryer on the channel. That’s kinda big time to be honest!!
In regards to the yardage difference between the two of you, I totally get. I’m pretty close to yardages as you are, but I play with guys that hit their 8 iron 175 yards…..that’s a 4 hybrid for me!!
10:28 Luke, take him down. Should have had the red hat. I'll continue watching. Raise the U&D flag for us.
Higher handicap players usually fail at the short pitch shots….you’ll do much better playing a bump and run especially when you have any kind of level ground. But nooooooo you’ll keep on coming up short or going long 75% of the time…..🤪🤪🤪
very good game that last hole crippled you.
I like the little coaching tips from Matt with things like the 2 iron.
I've always thought a good bit of content would be Matt and maybe someone like RS taking two comparatively high handicappers of the same level and coaching them over 9 holes, giving them something to go away and work on and then the two coached players having a match. Like a who's the better instructor thing! As a high handicapper I'd definitely volunteer…
Really enjoyed the video. Some pretty poor on course scorekeeping, but you did a good job with editing. Course was brutal if you don't keep the ball straight. I'd probably hit 8 iron or less every shot
Only halfway through, I'll watch the rest tomorrow, take 13 clubs out of your bag Luke, you only need your putter 👌
Well played Luke!
I think you'll make big moves after this video ⛳️ all the best
Awesome video Luke, nice to see you collab with another youtuber, next time we need to see you secure the win tho. Cheers mate
Great vid Luke
Really pleased that you’ve got a big name on your channel, well deserved mate
Great video Luke. Thought you handled this tough 9 really well despite the travails on the last. Well done to Matt for helping you raise the channel’s profile. Top bloke! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Great viewing guy's, now gonna subscribe to MF…
I’d normally struggle more with a course that has a lot of trees or water, but this course looked mega tough if you’re not straight down the middle. I’m similar level, but maybe try a hybrid off the tee instead of those “in play” irons
So there’s the difference. The course is unforgiving for the better golfer who goes astray and punitive to unplayable for the hacker who’s never straight. Regardless, if you take your two blobs out, you did well; and your putting was exceptional in places. Not a bad day at the office, in retrospect.
