  1. Pommer I can't wait, I have to watch the replay…US

  2. Chris Psoras says:

I can't believe you brought forward Zac Fisher in the side, Blue Abroad show.
Pommy πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ he is on my hit list to move him on. Fisher is a one stroke engine player ( a WAST OF SPACE ON CFC LIST )

  3. Since round 11, 2022 Collingwood have won 13 out of the last 34 games by less than 7points. Carlton have lost all 3 against pies with 2 close ones and a 28point loss earlier this year where the pies dominated one quarter when Carlton were playing poor. Different story now Blues up and about full of confidence and a more attacking brand of footy. Great preview Pommy, always enjoy your show.

  4. I HATE PHONES POM , GO BLUES RARARA

  5. Lana Owens says:

    Go bluebaggers πŸ’™ πŸ’ͺ

  6. Petra Kann says:

Can we play 4 quarters of pressure football against a team that rarely plays 4 quarters?
That's a weakness for the Pies which is why they haven't been able to repeat their close win finishes in finals.
Their self belief and fighting spirit is A+

What a great test for our playing group pom.
I hope the players continue taking on the challenges presented to them.
I have a good feeling about this contest……

  7. George says:

We must own the corridor and bring Saad up to Walsh's position. Shut down the Daicos duo and their midfield. Huge task but very achievable

  8. Musings
1- The Carlton 'identity' = injuries ?? Did we play the way we played early this season to protect ourselves? Did the 'best ability is availability' notion impact us and are we now seeing why we played with the foot off the accelerator earlier?
2- Maynards shoulders are dodgy and Martin needs to know this.
3- Did Collingwood celebrate a little too hard last week? How will last weeks game impact them?
4- Collingwood can get you on the wings as well as they get you through the corridor.
5- Our ability to move the ball out of the front of the stoppage is the key to really troubling Collingwood.
6- I really like what Dow is doing with his handpassing.
    Love your work.

  9. Nothing more exciting then this game. I can not wait to get into it! Surely the blues get it done πŸ’™

  10. Delma Roeton says:

The ladder is looking dangerous for Carlton again. They really can’t afford to lose many more for the year. Pressure building again, very similar to last year.

  11. Love you Pom your analysis is next level

  12. Great analysis puts foxfooty to shame

  14. The biggest thing I’ll have my eye on is if/when we are challenged and/or are on the back foot how do we respond on field and in the coaching box. I want to see Voss’ mind working overtime, making adjustments to get us back in the game. The absolute last thing I wanna see is Voss on the bench with his arms crossed looking perplexed having no idea what’s going on if we are in the mud.

Time to drain the Collingwood swamp!!

  15. Mark Upshot says:

Be interesting to do a comparision between Mick Malthouses V shaped formations running forward in his Collingwood premiership year & this Collingwood team. I think this Collingwood team subliminally relies on other teams mistakes. I agree with you about tackle pressure they have been trained to except a certain number of contested situations before they win the ball, exceed that number consistantly & Carlton may win as long as they still have enough left in the tank. This will be a difficult game for Carlton to win given Collingwood is at full strength. However if they do win, this team could go all the way given the personal to come back. Go Blues

  16. Chris Psoras says:

We need to capitalise on all levels against Collingwood. Collingwood players have a good engine, particularly last quarter.
Yes, we have injuries, and can our B grade and c grade players step up ? I am looking forward to bringing in the correct depth for our list .

  17. If Carlton are Sebastian Vettel in your words, Collingwood would have to be Max Verstappen

  18. Charlie, Fogarty, Cunningham, Martin and Motlop vs Moore, Murphy, Maynard Howe and Quaynor at 1 end
Mihocek, Elliott, McStay, Hill and McCreery vs Weitering, Kemp, Docherty, Saad and Newman at the other
Collingwood might select Johnson and Ginnivan for Cox and Hill provided that the latter two are quite cold in form, Johnson was unlucky to get dropped

  19. I am glad that we have won a couple of close games recently, I want to do it every now and then, when you don’t use it (the skill), you lose it

  20. Imagine if there is a high half forward draftee in the future who draws comparisons to Robbie Gray, Jamie Elliott and Luke Shuey, if finishing games is your thing, take him

Also, I think Craig McRae has played a big part in unlocking Elliott, I don’t think Elliott would have been half as effective under Buckley, McRae has better trained the group to finish games than Buckley ever did

  21. Smegoff84 says:

I was expecting that red pen to come flying through my screen!

  22. Anthony Drew says:

Would of been nice to have a full list But we will when we face them in the finals

  23. Anthony Drew says:

    When's your selection podcast cheers

  24. sedat 55 says:

Pommy we need a miracle with all our injuries 😒😒

  25. I’d love to see the graph of kicking efficiency on one axis, and distance per kick on the other; for all teams
