Does weight move during swing when chipping
Wow very interesting stuff…the whole weight on the left side thing always confused me…it seems counterintuitive when people would tell me "75% weight on left, oh but not too much shaft lean, you need to use the bounce"…I always thought, wait those two things dont go together
YOU SIR ARE A VERY GOOD TEACHER, YOU EX-PLANE THINGS PERFECT, GOOD JOB I HAVE LEARNED A GREAT DEAL FROM YOUR VIDEO'S
the best instructor
Chris, could you please make a flic about uphill and downhill short and long play. Playing up or down give me the creeps.
for chipping do we keep the left elbow close to the body?
Chris, You hit the nail on the head with this one.
A bonus to the principles you gave here about ball under sternum and how the weight position can vary…..
Lots of time chipping around the green, there are awkward slopes and features that dictate unusual stances and ball positions. A golfer who keeps these tips in mind can still make clean contact.
Well done!!
Probably the best explanation of chipping on youtube. Helped me a lot Chris many thanks
Excellent advice
I agree Grumpy2159. Chris that was very well explained thanks for that I have also been told to open my stance but you explained and demoed as parallel to target is there any preference?
Very good explanation. He demystified the body weight rule and delivered a clear sternum relationship with the ball. Excellent!
Great video. Sternum positioning is key.
Agreed!! Never liked the 80 20 thing
Just so you know my game has improved tremendously since I started taking your advice. I got a birdie on Monday have taken many strokes off my game as well. Thank you.
Thanks Chris. On a similar topic, what's your opinion on having a slightly open stance with chip/pitch shots?
Thank you very much!
Your explanations are simply the best IMHO.
Because you also take the circumstances into account, which is (as we all should know) inevitable for drawing the right conclusions – not only for golf.
A big THUMPS up!
