Great episode man.
I appreciate the irony of suggesting this in regards to a surreal comedy but I think you would get a lot more success if you wrote something in series.
I love the character of Bruce. Sitcom it up a little bit. Have a premise and then go surreal from there. Keep episodes sequential. Have an overlaying goal like he needs to win a golf cup or one of his pupils does. Or he needs to avenge his fathers failure in a mini golf tournament.
