Yep. Bagged a metal flake SP Quake for a while. Good disc, but it’s not hard to put too much into it. Lost mine in Fountain Hills because it flipped up and turned too much.
I love my gator3 for that slot

Any idea when the Ultra releases? I really enjoy the Strike so I've been looking forward to this release
I struggled with this slot. The Quake won out for a while, but my grip doesn't like the firm slickness of DGA's proline plastic. I'm now using a Pyro and loving it. Very similar feel to the Quake, but a touch more tackiness to the point where I have full confidence with it. I also just discovered it's an insanely reliable thumber disc.

I really like the lone star walker for reliable overstable shots forehand and backhand.

I’ve been all over the place with this slot in my bag. I had a BuzzzOS, but it didn’t have enough glide. I tried the Malta, but it was weirdly flippy. I tried the Kaxe to see if it was arm speed… nope. All of this experimentation just for me to eventually settle on the roc3 again haha.
the BEST over stable mid range hands down is the Star Caiman easily this thing can be thrown hard and on anny and even into headwind and will slowly fight back left without much fade vs a fairway driver etc!
Quake is the best!

I have realized I like beaded sorta stable and overstable discs, (understable discs often have a different shaped wing so they feel pretty good anyways). But I can't get consistent releases on eg. Claymore, Buzzz, Trust, Compass. So I have a Suspect, PX-3, Pig, Roc, Nordic Warrior (almost a bead edge, also not best releases with this but it fights to flex even if it doesnt win the fight) Roc3, eMac Truth (yeye, microbeads are beads!), Loki for stable/OS mid/approach.
You’d probably like the 400/500 MX-1’s 🔥

I bag the Prism-Plasma Axiom Pyro for this slot. My friend just got a Proton-Plasma Pyro too and we're both ecstatic about what it does. Maybe you've tried it already, but I feel like you'd like the feel. Also, what do you think of the Neo Method?

The most stable quake is the Noah Meintsma – and it’s not close. These are between the stock PL’s and the Noah team series ones.
I have had a few Quakes in SP line plastic. Never turned and not fought out in Kansas wind. Never thrown the ICE plastic or Pro line in this mold.
I've had a Quake in my bag for a while now and could not be happier with it. It has the perfect amount of stability for me in the overstable midrange slot. DGA in general is an underrated manufacturer, glad to see you giving them some love.

ApolloDiscGolf has kinda sold me in the Quake as it apparently feels much like a Rift. Just need to get one in my hands.
Gator has otherwise been my OS mid of choice.
I was bagging the Roc3 but it didn't have the overstability that I wanted out of that slot. I have a Deflector and a Hex so I tried out the Pyro for that in between slot and I've enjoyed it so far. I am still unsure if it's overstable enough, haven't tested it enough on those slight flex lines to see, but the Ultra looks like the stability I'm looking for.
