Brilliant! What a lovely course!
I know exactly how you felt, and for some reason these type of days come just when you think you've cracked the game, but on the plus side it made for great entertainment !
Keep grinding man! golf is a up and down game I had a few moments this weekend where I wanted to throw a couple of my clubs in the trees it took everything in me not too……..Just stay confident and keep swinging π€π½π€π½π€π½
I had a bad day last Friday.. been shooting around low 90βs for about 7/8 weeks and I shot 99.. wasnβt happy at all. Putting let me down in a big way. We all get them days.. on to the next Dennis! ππ»ββοΈβ³οΈ
We all have days like that. Managing to still enjoy the game even on a bad day is a skill in itself. As always, so relatable π
We all have those days (loads for me) just remember you out in the fresh on a nice course. Something to reminisce on day out with the mates
Happens to us all mate, love the content! What camera do you use?
Keep wedges in the bag, use 7/8 iron bump and run on links keep going mate
Very relatable, nice to see some honest golf on YouTube! Also reminds me to spend more time practicing my short game. π itβs so critical for us duffers.
Mate i always watch them all the way through. I laugh and I cheer in equal measure. Keep it up fella.
My grandads holiday home is 30 seconds away! always wanted to play this course!
I've had a round like that before… luckily where I go for lessons they send video summaries and I store them on my phone, when things go bad, I go back to those, go back to basics, slow everything down, no full swings… and work my way back up
Tough track there mate, played in the PGA Welsh Open, looks a lovely day. One of the best course i've played. It is a course where you have to be on your game or it will eat you alive.
Had a round the other week playing comp. Playing off 11 HC first tee, topped 5 wood, topped a 5i second shot. Shot 6 on a par 4 first hole. Hole 5 shanked one OB, second shot through the fairway. Ended up hitting a 9 on a short par 4. We all have those days for sure. Came back and shot +5 on the back 9 lol.
TBH, this is a tough track with 7 par 4's over 400 yds and 4 long par 3's around and beyond 180 yds. Links is probably the most challenging type of golf course with all the hollows and swales, mounds, gorse and wind, plotting your way around is paramount. Cold comfort but we've all been there, playing awfully on a bucket list course and I'm sure we'll be there again. Keep positive and keep laughing and look forward to the bounce back round ππ
95 recently. Clearly your round here is a complete outlier! Breaking hundred again soon Iβm sure. I scored 95 last week, first time breaking 100. I expect it will go up and down going forward. Lovely course you played there. Looking forward to your recovery rounds
Get a trolley man! Take a weight off your back so you can swing free-er. All the new baby, lack of sleep and sore back must be present.
Your miss is always a pull but that course is tough and you just were finding it impossible to stay away from rough etc. Sometimes a bad driver off tee is better than a bad hybrid etc. Get some driver lessons asap so you cut loads of these fatted lay up shots out of your game.
Same thing happened to me this Sunday!makes no sense hey π€
Soooooo relatable! Get back out there and break 100 again!
Man, that course looked hard. Well done
It's like every shot is a stinger… A lesson should cure that! There are so many good coaches in England! But what a course! Looks great!
Drone shots giving this channel a 5 βοΈ!
Keep it positive, I had worst days than this. π
I feel you pain! You have to laugh at yourself sometimes otherwise you will go crazy! And golf will do that to you.
