Good lesson coach šŸ‘ Love the swing šŸ‘

  2. When I try this I get very much over the top.
    How can I fix it?

  3. ABR, always be rotating. Rotation really stabilizes the face and helps keep the arms and body together through the swing. if your arms fall behind the club has to catch up by flipping.

  4. Al Hand says:

Having just read Jim Hardys books. You look like your now one plane swing with a RIT release. Looking gooood!

  5. Al Hand says:

You could look at Jim Hardyā€™s book the release?

  6. Brad Scoble says:

I made this same change and the biggest key for me was actually taking a wider stance. It really stopped the slide forward and I could push back out of the left leg way easier.

  7. MrMalditor says:

The funny thing is I've never seen a good player who had a flip before. What you are talking about is most likely exactly what I need to implement in my game. I've been away from golf for nearly 2 years now so it's a great time to really try to ingrain a fix since I'm focusing on range time. I'm going to try this out.

  8. Mark Kindell says:

How I changed my swing was swinging the club and stopping my right shoulder in the downswing until the club is past my thigh and then turning shoulder, and hip

  9. Scott Parks says:

I could watch him hit balls all day

  10. AndyF1130 says:

not rotating my hips through the ball on the downswing is what I have been working on with my coach for a while now. I load pretty well on my backswing just leave it back there. This video is helpful, its getting better and better with more practice

  11. Joe Butts says:

Grant , another good feel for this is to feel like the right knee follows the hands into impact, that will bring the right hip around, get the hands forward, and get all the pressure into the front side

  12. JSEIII says:

I need no work on that šŸ’Æ

  13. Your form looks insanely good, you must be mentally very strong grant! Love your videos

  14. Yeah man thanks again between this video and the other one I got to move dial pack it's embedded in my swing now. Thank you

  15. Never release the club. Thatā€™s the feel which works for me.

  16. Love this description and the preset drill you are demonstrating. Brilliant.

  17. I believe what youā€™re trying to explain is the feeling of getting your hands ahead of the ball (aka hitting through the ball). And agreed Garrett has those world class wrists with his hands way ahead of the ball at impact.

  18. David KC says:

You should exercise those trunk muscles to get them stronger.

  19. Tyler says:

Check out Mike Bender. He has a lot of good drills for this

  20. James Hayes says:

Iā€™ve been working on this exact thing lately. Iā€™ve plateaued at around an 8 handicap for the past 2 seasons and I think this is gonna push me to become a better player

  21. Koda says:

that thumbnail cannot be real lol. If your legs move like that you have some serious flexibility

  22. dr ozone says:

grant have you studied jim venetos? seems you are incorporating some of his principles

  23. Not me worrying about sliding my hips at 3:30 am in the morning, I can relate to that grant! You probably hear this lots, but you're understanding of the golf swing is incredible.

  24. skessler004 says:

Watching you explain how to drive into that front leg and then push back while turning just switched a šŸ’” for me. I make the same move through the ball driving forward and then my hands take over. Couldnā€™t figure out how to get my lower body more involved until seeing this. Thanks for the great content!

  25. When you know .. you know .. when you get that "feeling" ~ nothing like it, congrats.

  26. It really looks good, and great advice.

  27. Loved this. I'm a decent ball striker but have the same flippy/slidey issues. It gets tougher to pull off as I get older. Really like the drill of starting at impact.

  28. ALCSTATICYT says:

jeesh i wish i could hit draws like you because I'm trying to learn how to do it but it doesn't work because they turn into hooks

  29. Br ADX says:

Really clear. A drill I need to do since I struggle with the same sliding body and flipping hands.

  30. The changes you make and how you explain them are 11/10!!!!!

  31. o my my says:

more straight when you turn to front

  32. tiubster says:

Damn solid video Grant, love this tip – step/bump + rotate. I reckon this is the best drill for the lower body. Question: did you think to rotate/push from the right side (2nd step of the drill) or was it something else?

  33. Luca Films says:

Grant, youā€˜re such a enrichment to the Good Good community and youtube golf overall! Thankā€˜s for everything šŸ™‚

  34. This is a great analysis of how to get away from flipping the hands. I for years now extend my hips towards the ball therefore forcing me to flip my hands around. Really good to see someone work this out!! Iā€™ll be giving this a shot!! Thanks!!

  35. Grant, Iā€™m working on this exact thingā€¦and Iā€™m so glad you explained that itā€™s not just turning open, but that you have to have that push, or re-centeringā€¦otherwise your arms wonā€™t do what they need to do as well.
Also, the way you explain things is so clear, just like how you did with Matt in the GGLabs vidā€¦keep up the great work!
