  1. Wow, that's a great upgrade

If you press and hold the settings button for a few seconds on the Sergent panel it goes into set up pages. On the 3rd page it gives you battery type… Change this to Lithium.
Also if you have the PX300 charger which is standard on new Swifts, that will charge Lithium fine. Not sure what Solar charge controller you have, but Google should let you know & there may be dip switches to set to Lithium charging…. Good luck from a fellow Salop customer.

Not a fan of your motorhome think it wants moving on time for a fresh one. Good thing is your honest and what you have shown us over last couple of years has made our mind up not to buy that make and model, time for a new one, stickers are great but look a bit of a mess. 👍👍👍👍

  4. Kyle Cutler says:

How is the Lithium going? We've been looking into upgrading to Lithium as we only have a small 72AH Lead Acid with a Sargent Unit (FC176). We've been told we need a B2B for it – But it's so complicated!

We do also have a 175W Solar panel with a 75/15 Victron MPPT, would it work ok with that do you think??

    Thanks!!

Great to meet you at Somers wood.Last night here at Oxon Hall for us😢 Enjoy your meet up next weekend. Phil and Helen ❤(for Rob from me😂😂)

  6. Gerard C says:

Great update and nice install.Hadn't come across that brand of battery in my research but if they are serious about getting traction in the UK market, I think they need to increase the length of their warranty to match the best of their competitors (7 years plus) as they are a big investment."If you don't use it, its a waste of money" Classic 😅

  7. LeisureBit says:

All lithium’d up eh 🙌 if you use a couple of pencils you could find water too 😂
That thermamix chopping gadget looked amazing.
    Nice site.
Have a lovely weekend. Catch you soon
All the best David & Rachel 👍

  8. Well done going lithium. A good solar setup will be more than enough to keep the battery fully charged 👌🏽. Happy holidays and crack on Rob 👌🏽💪🏽🤣

  9. Tony Bessent says:

I think the is a farm shop down the road we used to get some cheeses and a meal

  10. J Brad says:

Welcome to lithium it’s about time. I know going back for the fridge is a pain but at least you caught it under warranty. 👍

  11. Yeayyy at last a lithium battery – you can have your lights on now 😂bit worried about you fitting it Rob!
Been to Sommers wood – lovely campsite!
Not long now for your meet – hope it goes well!😊💕💕

  12. Bob Earnshaw says:

Looks like there's going to be loads of the Power Queen batteries about, we're getting one as well!

  13. Hi guys can I ask a silly question please?… when you stop for any time (lay-by etc) do you put the gas on for your fridge? Sorry, I know it’s probably a very silly question but we are new to the Motorhome side. We are really interested in finding out how your battery goes for you. Another great vlog, thanks for taking us along.

  14. Looks like a lovely place ❤
The lithium is a great upgrade, we are looking forward to giving ours a good test in Europe 😊x

  15. Hi 👋🏻 Rob and Lynn..
    Great video once again.
Rob you handled that battery like a pro 😁😁so glad you didn’t blow up 😉
The summer park looked lovely, you have such beautiful places there.

I am glad they will still honour the warranty work.
The money it costs for motor homes, maybe the warranty should be more 🤷🏻‍♀️
I went to a Thermomix demo once , they wanted over $ 2000 for it and wondered why I didn’t get one 😮😮my daughter in law has one .. They are a lot of $$

Have a great weekend whatever you are doing.
Lots of love ? Vicki 💜💜❌❌

  16. Hiya both hope you are well , I’m not trying to worry you but please ask for more advice (maybe reach out to Greg Virgo ) it’s not usually just a case of swapping over batteries and adding a second charger

  17. Great see you upgrade to the lithium, sure they got plenty of sales from your install Rob. Only thing is I can see you swapping the bus in next 12 month's based on all the warranty work you've had done, so can you extend the warranty for a couple of year's based on the repeat faults that keep arising??? Also at £850 I woukd keep the OE Battery on trickle charge and swap back if you do decide to change, save buying again down the line 😢 Hope to bump into you at some point have a large VAT together 😂

Just watched your volg @ summer's wood Rob & Lynn on tour ! Bloody beautiful 😊 & its funny you have changed your battery over Rob because after mine failed the MOT on my scooter they were 2x 75kwhatt gel @ a cost of 620 pounds now i have gone to the 2x whatt 50amp lithuim standard batteries & the cost was 375pounds bloody big difference in price but i carnt do 34miles just 20miles on a full charge but thats much better & they dont tend to loose there power when the scooter isnt being used because of the weather as Lynn says hunny your right its weather for ducks only & the bad new is we have heavy rain until the 3rd week in August then we are set for a heatwave sorry hunny 😢 loved watching my favourite couple on YouTube ! Dont forget to find me a power bank for my new batteries now Rob as i need it charged up every week so i can get up to my doctors surgery & the town & chemist etc so will need it for the fall/ autumn 🍂 or it will be cold in the house charging the scooter up with my window open in my living room i will need mittens on lol 😆 plus they have said we are in for a very cold 🥶 winter like 1963 god help us all ! Anyway stay safe enjoy yourselves & i will be watching you both through the looking glass / mobile, O & i forgot Lynn well done on the pencil for the live connection & Rob put a rubber mat under your battery because of getting a fire mate as the battery do get hot 🔥 when on full power off grid & it wont short out if you get an electrical storm , loved your grey blouse Lynn , all my love Linda from Newport Shropshire xxxx
