Rory McIlroy talks about his main swing thought when approaching the tee box.

In general Rory talks about the importance of keeping the golf club in front of him during the back swing, as if the club gets behind him too early it makes it more difficult to get it back on swing plane.

The club has to travel further and makes it more difficult.

A simple but very important drill for him. So much so that other pros and swing coaches talk about this a lot. Something I’m still working on, but definitely a great tip I see success with when implemented!
