  1. Thanks for helping my channel reach 85,000 subscribers! If you appreciate my unsponsored reviews, please give this video a like and consider sharing it with someone new to cutting the cord.

  2. Lexie Hoover says:

I use sling just for my Nascar racing i wish we could just get the channels we watch

  3. F D says:

Sling works for me, but if I had a 4K tv or wanted better sound this probably wouldn’t be the way to go

  4. mrandyjeezy says:

Probably cheapest way of getting ESPN & TNT. With an antenna and Sling Blue at $40 a month its the best deal for live sports. Sunday night Baseball on ESPN for MLB and NBA on TNT also MLB and NHL on TBS (subject to blackouts) is cool too. Sling Blue with an antenna for $40 for live sports is not bad. Combine Fox and Abc for over the air along with TNT, ESPN and TBS not a bad deal. I will wait for ESPN to branch out on its own to switch out Sling Blue. But until then. Sling Blue with antenna is the shh.

  5. I personally vouch for Philo Tv. $26.50 for 75+ channels. I have had it over a year now.

  6. I switched to Sling Blue about a month ago to lower cost from YouTube TV. There are some channels missing but for the most part I'm happy with the decision. I hardly watch live TV with the exception of local and cable news so this has been a good fit. I don't have a local CBS station but I do have Paramount+ so I can get the CBS shows there. My only complaint is there has been some buffering and sometimes the guide is slow to load and a bit clunky to navigate with my Apple TV remote but I'm saving $33 so I can deal with it.

  7. My girlfriend and I have used Fubo and YouTube TV before but for me, I really prefer Sling TV.

  8. Matt Seplak says:

I have sling TV as well as a back up. And I use Sling TV a lot more after football season

  9. Moon-Light says:

Great information, Im testing out YTTV and would like to know if I keep using data even when the tv is off,. Thanks.

  10. Shawn Callis says:

If only they provided my local channels. 4 tvs in my house. I don't want antennas.

  11. Captioning of some prime time MSNBC shows have issues on Roku. Be prepared to speed read. Problem doesn't exist on Amazon fire devices.

I am hard-of-hearing and rely on captioning. I had to buy a Firestick to be able to get sane captioning on MSNBC prime time programming.

  12. 3:14 p.m.
I have been a Sling TV subscriber for several years. I subscribe during college football season with the sports add-on for $51/mo. I drop the paid Sling plan during the off season (thanks, Michael) for the suggestion!) and have Paramount +, Discovery+, and several free channels to watch until football season rolls back around. I have a HD antenna for a couple of local channels for live news. I’m very satisfied with the programming from Sing TV for a very affordable price.

Thanks, Michael, for all you do to keep us informed in the ever-changing world of cord cutting. Fantastic job!!

Or you could review another legal streaming service that blows their content and price out of the water 🤷‍♀️

  14. I dumped YouTubeTV for Sling Blue with all of its extras. I was looking for the following: TCM, RedZone, 200hrs DVR, MLB (not on YouTubeTV) FS1,2. The price is $61. Don’t need ESPN.

  15. Don F says:

I plan to return to Sling Blue soon. I no longer have need for local channels. I like the Sling user interface on Roku better than any of the other streaming services (I have tried them all). Great way to save money too. When I go back I will stay with Sling.

  16. NY LGK says:

Another great video. Thanks. The thing that concerns me about Dish and Sling is that Charlie Ergen is always having carriage cost fights with various networks…and while many of them ultimately get resolved, there are many times when Dish and Sling temporarily remove networks from their lineup until the deals are reached. That can be very disruptive to viewers.

  17. car guy says:

I used to have it when it was cheaper, not worth it now.

  18. Ed Schulhof says:

I am on a 14 day free trial with Sling, "From futbol to football." I made sure it said I owe $0.00 before hitting subscribe. Then they charged me $8.74 for some reason. I went to cancel and it said I would lose access immediately with a free trial. WTH? If it's free, why the charge? If I continue after the trial period, Sling says it will cost me $102 a month. That is Orange, Blue and every add on. On Chrome, when I go to "My Account" there is no cancel option and all of the links are broken. The "Chat bot" isn't working either. On Firefox, there is a cancel button, but when I hit "confirm" it loops me back to why I am cancelling screen. Great company. Update: I called Sling. I talked to a very helpful person, Ronnie. She cancelled my service. When I checked my account, it says cancelled.

  19. I couple Sling blue with Fubo so I can get the Warner/Turner network channels

  20. I couldn't take the poor interface and constant bugs anymore. You would think the company that invented live steaming cable could make a decent service. I'm doing Direc tv live on promo. It's so much better, not sure if I'm going to keep it though.

  21. umarbhai20 says:

I’ve noticed that Sling has had a lot of technical issues recently. Whether it was video playback or trying to change my subscription online but it didn’t go through on multiple occasions. I feel it used to be very reliable before, but not so much now.

  22. I have an airtv anywhere unit through slingtv. I don’t pay for sling but used to get my locals free and a free dvr. Now my locals quit working on it and there’s no dvr. I feel like slingtv screwed me over when they sold me this unit. It’s garbage.

  23. Y Not says:

Does sling tv ever add new channels, no I cant get locals on sling. When you get blue and orange plus add ons you end up paying about 70 bucks.

  24. Do a video on NFL ticket

  25. D Jaquith says:

We had Sling for a while and it's okay, we added Sling when YouTube TV dropped the Tennis Channel. What I don't understand is why don't they offer a third package for locals?

  26. We have had Sling TV since they began. I hate that you can only watch ESPN on one channel, but they have others we like such as tennis, westerns, (for the husband)and history. Thank you for your video. Have a great weekend. ❤❤❤❤Update: Over the weekend, Sling added more channels including Broadway On Demand, Ambient, Sc-Fi, Beauty, and Horror. ❤❤❤❤

  27. Wootage84 says:

Had to cancel it twice because they wouldn't let me change my package and if I resubscribe I have to pay $92 for some reason. So I guess I'm done with sling.

  28. I feel because Sling offers sports & News we're paying more for less. Sling blue offers 40 channels for 40$ a month basically 1$ per channel Vs Philo TV that offers 70+ Channels with Unlimited DVR at no extra cost. And with the value of Philo TV they have leadway to increase the price in the future by 5 dollars to add on more entertainment networks and still have more value than sling.

  29. Sling tv is not worth the price even if it is 40.00 because they don't have local channels
