Taking on TPC | HOLE 17 AT THE 3M OPEN | TPC Twin Cities

The 3M Open represents the PGA Tour’s annual stop in Minnesota at TPC Twin Cities. Hole 17 at the 3M Open is one of the most daunting tee shots on the PGA Tour, and it has already created plenty of drama in the tournament’s short history.

In this video, 2nd Swing’s Drew Mahowald is joined by University of Minnesota golfer Emma Carpenter to talk through and explain the 17th hole at TPC Twin Cities. Emma and Drew discuss how players will attack the tricky 17th hole and all of the reasons why it can cause problems for the best players in the world.

Did they do these TPC videos all on the same day and Emma changed clothes after each hole while Drew was like “F it, I’m not changing out of this salmon polo”?
    Great content nonetheless!

Great job to the 2nd swing crew for making this video! This iconic par 3 never fails to deliver heart-pounding moments and jaw-dropping shots. Whether it's the tricky pin placement, the water hazard lurking in the background, or the pressure-cooker atmosphere of a competitive event, this hole demands nothing less than precision and nerves of steel.
