Is there any consideration put to Kirk having the same OC for back to back years for the first time since he’s been with the Vikings? Or that the entire offense outside of Dalvin cook is back or better? And the defense is more than likely not going to be worse than last year using an aggressive secondary.
Great episode!
If I was a Bears fan, I would be screaming about the OC situation. Sure they got DJ Moore and some OLine help, but I don't think Luke Getsy, with only Packers A-Rod experience as an OC, has enough experience to get the most out of Fields and the rest of that offense. A-Rod just did/does his own thing, and seems largely uncoachable, and I'm skeptical about any actual experience Getsy claims to have by watching Rodgers do stuff. I think the Bears were dead last in passing offense last year, and I don't see it getting any better with that OC.
Tremendous podcast. As a lifelong Bears fan Matthew Coller is one of my favorite Vikings podcasters. He is 'one of the few' who objectively evaluates the Vikings. I follow both of them weekly and I would highly recommend either of them for great content.
