While I think this is important, it's also worth mentioning that having a good impact is easier if what's going on before it is on plane and somewhat neutral šŸ™‚ I.e. these guys have immense eye hand coordination and get away with technique that us mortals would struggle to make work. Good thing you coaches exist to help us with that.

  2. Love this Steve šŸ˜Š Follow the basics, keep fit, hit a lot of balls, play with freedom and enjoy. Best, John @JWfit šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§

  8. Best. Video. Ever! This should be played on loop at all practice ranges.
This is similar to Arnold Palmer's video about "swing your swing." I've been saying it for years, but, unfortunately, fell for the allure of swinging like Dustin Johnson or Cameron Champ to increase my distance (I'm 5'8, 170 pounds, and over 50 years old!). I ended up hurting my wrist, my left hip, my mid back, and even my fingers trying to emulate some of these swings. And each time I tried to play with a new swing, my handicap went up and my speed went down. I finally gave up on trying to copy someone else's swing and went back to my basics (yeah, I early extend a little, but not so much that I shank the ball). Got my handicap down to a 9 and hope to drop it a couple more in due time. At this point, I'm guessing that it's all about the short game and putting.
