They will try and pay less than replacement costs and give you used value. I would just go ahead and get an attorney.

  2. Dr. Joy says:

Do you have a go fund me? Lady should not have been driving. I hate to say this and I may get some hate but as a physician I have seen few patients in that age group who can safely drive.

  3. Wes Clay says:

All this stuff you are naming off, you need to sit down and make an Itemized list,,, because when the adjuster comes out they are just going to look at damages…. Hate to sya it but you're going to need a lawyer….. Very glad every one was ok…. Life can change in an instant….

  4. L M says:

I’m sure you know NOT to accept the insurance companies first, or even second offer. Their adjusters get paid to intentionally low-ball estimates when their obligation is to make you whole again.

  5. They will give you depreciated value on anything they cover. And your time setting up they could care less about. My buddy went through similar situation got a little over half of what he was expecting

  6. I had the crash video keep popping up in my feed, so I finally watched it this morning. What a shame for what happened. I hope everything works out for you and your family. Im sure no one will think any less of you for taking help. Keep your head up!

  7. Janice12649 says:

That didn't look like God's plan that looked like the Devils plan, keep positive and God will see you through it.

  8. You are both ok. The rest can be replaced, but it will take time, and a lot more hard work, but I know you can do it, You have a lot of support. Please use it at this time to get through.

  9. I’m auto body technician and based off what I’ve seen from insurance claims and stuff there’s no question about it that trucks not worth saving. The whole rear ends ripped from the frame and twisted. Beds gone, no bed side will fix the damage there, the cabs done for, and I can guarantee looking at the panel gap on the drivers side that impact transferred through. I really hope they don’t decide to repair it and replace it instead. That was a nice clean truck before hand🙏. Best of wishes man

Being prideful is a great thing but acknowledging when you need help is ok too! I am glad you are both OK!

  11. Just be thankful that neither of you got hurt everything else can be replaced.

  12. t34 fan says:

Thank goodness you were both ok . Take you time with the insurance companies, they'll try to pay the least they can .🇬🇧

  13. nick says:

5:32 50k??? Bro you’re talking 100k and a new truck. Cause you are talking down time cause of the accident then down time due to time to acquire the equipment then emotional stress due to the events. Lost customers and everything. If you don’t get a new truck and whatever you would have expected to make in revenue not profit for 12 months you got low balled

  14. nick says:

89??? That’s like 20 years past when the license should have been suspended

  15. Robin says:

    What is Windy smoking?

  16. dbn52 says:

    Good luck to you!!!

  17. Tim Bruns says:

You really need to relax and let the insurance companies figure it out, oh and you can’t reap payments for your time building racks and holding areas for your blower, weed eater and such, if it were me I’d be making a list of everything you lost and what it’s going to cost you to replace it. A breakdown of everything. I’m not trying to be critical but you need to relax there’s nothing you can do about it now except get everything put on the list and what it cost today to replace. All the best to you and your family.

  18. Ant Squirly says:

My heart goes out to you. Yeah, everything is trashed, you have a lot of 'parts'. The truck is gone, too. Even if it were repairable, would you trust it? It'll be okay, you're still with us.

  19. BigRobert85 says:

I hope your business gets back on it feet, I enjoy your videos.

  20. I strongly believe after a certain age people should have to retest periodically for their drivers license. I ride motorcycles, mist of the close calls I've had have been with people that are elderly in age

  21. D L says:

Best of luck with the 89 year olds insurance company.

  22. Don’t forget about your vehicle graphics

  23. You will probably be better off suing the insurance company for all losses. Any monies they try to pay you will not cover your costs to make yourself whole. God kept you physically safe. Ultimately stuff can be replaced, but you and your wife can not! This is a set back but not a tragedy. The accident did not take away your advanced knowledge of your business. It did not take away your work ethics. You will rise above this and ultimately be ok.

  24. Never accept the first offer the insurance company will try to low ball you. Gather print out of the cost to replace each item lost. Have quotes ready so that you can counter their offer. Let your insurance do their job.

  25. I hope this woman's insurance really kicks in. Really take the time to make a detailed list of everything you lost in this tragedy. The most important thing is that you are okay. Everything else can be replaced. I hope all your clients hang in there for you. Wishing you all the best !!!!

  26. s. gle says:

Insurance probably won't pay for the equipment because of one important thing missing from the scene. You didn't have anything secured to the trailer your lucky DOT didn't come upon the accident.

  27. Chris Spears says:

From past experience if the airbags went off it's totaled they will have to replace the whole vehicle

  28. Karen Walker says:

You also need money to pay someone to do that lettering /business info on a new rig.

  29. Becky m says:

A deer hit the front fender of my car in april and that one deer did over 9000 in damage to my 2015 car. The insurance totaled it. The accident happened April 15th and I got an insurance check may 5th

  34. Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

  36. God said there would be challenges. He wants to see you overcome.

  37. From the UK here. I know it’s stupid but the thing that got me that even your rake handle was broken in two, just lying there on the grass. Praying for you both. Sending positive thoughts.🇬🇧♥️♥️♥️♥️

  38. CW Arts says:

I know this is a difficult time, and it’s hard to see things to be thankful for, beyond just the fact that everyone walked away from it. All the things that. Broke in or on your truck, the drive shaft, the side panels, struts, etc, took energy from the collision away from your bodies and kept the truck upright. 50 mph collisions are no joke, and side impacts like that frequently result in rollover accidents which would have been catastrophic. The engineers kept the tires on the road so that you could do your best to steer as much as possible for (as devastating as it is) really the best possible outcome. Insurance and potentially lawyers will take care of the rest. I’m glad you guys are ok to take on the challenge. Wishing you the best!

  43. 14:08 To me, the truck looks totaled. It's almost a sure bet that the frame is bent as hard as the old lady hit you.
