Pricing to attend is a bit too much already. I wanted to go to the MVP open.. but nope, they restrict several holes for VIP/gold, whatever the crap. They also charge $20 to park on their own property. Get bent maple hill.
I hate the ratings system for types of courses like Northwoods Black because the best disc golf round potential is there but the ratings would suggest you can’t even shoot an 1100 round with 18 under because strokes are worth less.
Ohn is doing great against younger players. She deserves more coverage and credit for that.
I think Cole plays the most in the rain.. huge advantage on the field for PNW players

I went to DGLO, twice, but 4 years apart. Pre-, and post Covid. While access is much better than Ledgestone appeared to be, I had to park about a mile from the entrance, and the entire front parking lot was now trailer, after camper, after trailer, after food truck. It was insane to see. And ticket prices are quickly climbing to co very level prices. Aside from purse size, these are the same courses with a ton of volunteers. Why has it gotten so gigantic so quickly. I don't want to see disc golf become the next major sporting event that remains only for the fat, greedy middle-upper class.
The players and fans built this sport, not the DGPT!!

Neither of those courses are my fav course. But I do agree it was one of the best tournaments this year. Left me excited for Worlds. Can't wait for next year when Worlds comes to my area. I WILL be there. And I think Brodie will take it. He ripped through Bedford course last year. Why did Battle for Bedford not get coverage last year? Anyone?

I don't hear people saying Eureka is birdie or due, I do hear them saying that it's hokey AF. Throwing over a baseball field, around picnic shelters, at a water tower, over perked cars, etc. is not a good look for the sport, especially when this is supposed to be one of the premier events. When you see one of the best players in the world have to straddle playground equipment to make a shot, it shows just how amateur we really are in the scope of things.

what i love most about calvins ace.. is when you watch the jomez coverage right after marwedes ace rickey lines up to putt and you hear a crowd explode.. when they were on hole 10 he makes mention of calvin getting his ace only 2 mins after .. so thats most certainly the reaction to calvins ace LOL
Definitely a bummer to drive 4 hours Saturday to see my first ever tournament only to be told there is no parking and you need to go to Walmart and either walk 2 miles or catch an Uber – or watch online .
Staff were also all over the fans telling them to follow one group rather than try to see multiple groups play.
Thankfully the players and course design more then made up for it
