In this tutorial I show you the 3 bunker techniques that are the easiest way to get out of any bunker, and you may be surprised that it’s not that hard either.
The 3 shots are a basic bunker shot that will allow you to get out every time, a high bunker shot for situations where there is a high lip and finally a long bunker shot when you have a greater distance to carry.
These 3 bunker techniques will allow you to get out of any bunker and leave yourself shorter putts. Bunkers shots can be easy when you have the right technique.

His head level is what i watch. Stays at almost the exact same height, start to finish. So his posture is great throughout.

Just a suggestion – Except for old Moe Norman videos, Golf instruction videos are always 95-99% chatter– no action-
do the unthinkable Chris and use a split screen of you hitting sand shots while you talk – –why must we sit through ten minutes of instruction to see 2 or 3 shots — Sorry , its not you its meWhat about those ducks in the background?

Is the bottom of the swing in a bunker flat? From the time the club enters the sand, I don't know what the path of the club head should be. Should it start upward, dig in further, or go flat for a foot or so?

By far the clearest guidance I've seen on hitting bunker shots. Can't wait to try it on the course this afternoon!
Getting out of bunker: Whack! Curse. Whack! Curse. Whack! Take a drop.
The duck stopped, watched, and was like…"nice shot".
What would you change if hitting out of hard sand? Some of the bunkers on my course have soft and and compact sand depending on the sun.
As a beginner golfer who just started golfing last summer. I found that I have more success using hybrids out of bunkers. As I struggle to hit my high lifted wedges, without meating them.
The hybrids seem to help me,as I can slow down my swing and still have decent power. Also the larger heavier club head of the hybrids help me contact the ball better.
They aren't ideal for all bunkers, but hybrids work great with many of them.
