Brendan of Forever Forward Fitness and Moose of Strength Community have started a new NDIS Day Program. It is called Active Social.
Active Social is a day program for participants of the NDIS. We are based out of Cardiff, but service participants in the Newcastle and surrounding areas.
Our day program has been designed to be a budget friendly program that runs Monday through till Friday, 10am till 2pm, at a 1:5 ratio of Support Worker to Participant.
Social Active is a community access group that provides participants with a range of activities to live happier and healthy lives.
About the Program
Active social is a 12 week program designed for participants that like to be active and participate in a variety of activities in the community.
Some of the activities are
– Attending personalised group gym sessions with a Professional personal trainer
– Beach days/swimming
– Cooking lessons with a chef, with 25 years experience šØāš³
– Pub lunch and pool day š±
– Bush walks/nature hikes
– Bbq day
– Bowling tenpin/lawn bowling
– Dog walking
– Putt putt golf
– Golf driving range
– 4wd driving on Stockton beach
– Movie day
– Fishing
– Stand up paddle boarding (SUP)
– Indoor/outdoor sports day
– Travel training
Plus much more
This is for participants who are active or for participants that would like to be more active and social to live a happier, healthy lifestyle.
