Wow, I’ve always setup parallel left where my toe line is actually aimed left of target, but the video shows the 2 lines actually intersecting at the target. Guess I need to adjust.

  2. Best thing for golfers at all levels…Mark Crossfield…great podcast also!

Sometimes I feel everything is great, then the strike is four inches behind the ball ! Fat !! What causes that? Getting too low out of posture?

  8. Nick says:

Thanks for all the videos! Any thought on making a video on how to better control draws or fades? I’ve eliminated any slice and have developed a draw but have inconsistent shape with it. Any suggestions on aligning with that?

  9. Len S says:

What a great video, thanks Mark !

People dont understand that knowing the basics doesnt mean that you do these basics correctly. You may think you do but without actually seeing yourself swinging we are not able to tell. So its either a video or a lesson

Hands over trail shoulder may have saved my life. For some reasons, with an iron in my hand, I don’t know what to do with my hands. Have no issues with wedges, hybrids or woods. Can even hit mini driver off the deck, but been struggling like crazy with 7-9 irons. Thanks Mark!! I

That’s great instruction. I’ve been playing over 20 years and often forget set up is the most important aspect of a consistent swing. Thanks Mark, I’ll be reminding myself of this next time I’m on the range, and will introduce those checkpoints into my pre-shot routine 👍🏻👍🏻

  17. Hi Mark, I try to play regularly but keep setting up wrong, takes about three holes to set correctly, but I'll try these out and let you know how it goes, great, easy to understand video, thanks!

Very informative as usual Mark! What would you recommend (drill/excercise) to increase the range of motion to get your backswing above your trail shoulder?

Mark, should I be trying to hit the ball at about the 7:00 position if 12:00 is target side?
