In the build up to the BIG MATCH at Trevose between Joe Ferguson and James Ruth, the boys will be battling it out in a 14 Club Challenge on the Par 3 17th at the beautiful La Bretesche.
The Rules are as follows:
Once you use a club, both players lose that club, so if Joe hits 9 iron, James can no longer hit 9 iron. You can only use a club once. If you hit the green, you get 1 point, if you miss you get nothing. The highest score is the winner.

All the golfing love for Joe the Pro. Amazing skill!
Joe the pro, what a legend. That was brilliant, no one was more impressed than Jimbo π
Loving the explanation demonstration from Joe the Pro
Just re-watched whilst awaiting flight back to UK – so good to see the skill set – it would have been fun to have seen the intentional roof!
I remember, there was a time there DP world tour called the great "Rick Shiels" himself and the King of drivers "Peter Finch" doing a 14 club challenge. Does anybody here remember how glorious they performed? How many greens they hit? And then compare with Joe the pro and James, the man with a golf swing i would like to have…..
Wow Joe is in another league, absolute top draw ππππ
Absolutely fantastic π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£
Great video! Would love to see a video of Joe talking through his swing.
βJames, how are you feeling?β
βNot too confident.β
π
Joe: βPlease use this two headed coin for the toss and I call, βheadsβ.β
π
That brought a smile to my face, boys.
That was completely amazingly insane!!!
Joe the pro aka shot maker extradonair
That was an outrageous performance Joe!! Master class on how to hit shots most have never tried! As you said years of training by hitting recovery shots lead up to this ππ» Great idea to do this video!
Had a good incredulous giggle over some of Joe's shots. Good vid gents.
I know Joe is a talented player but I can't imagine the hours and hours of practice that he, and all of you, have done that lets you understand and perform face control at an elite level. Lots of fun to watch.
Fun stuff but wondering why Joe the Pro hit first each round, giving him the opportunity to "X" out clubs. Proper procedure would've been to have Joe hit first, and then each player hits TWO shots from that point on, which means they alternate going first each "round." Where's Bernie when you need him as "Head of Competition Rules?" π
Blown away , that was exhibition stuff from Joe, absolutely brilliant .
What a match
Wow. Just wow.
How good was joke πππ
Can see why it was Joe and Jimbo. Would still be there trying to explain the rules to Paul!
Thoroughly enjoyed this, great stuff.
Thought Joe was little arrogant first time on channel but realise now was probably just bit shy and getting used to things. Heβs bloody great bloke and very funny. 4 great golfers and also Gilly too makes this such a great channel. Fantastic skills from Joe and would have given Seve a run for his money on this one
That was some creative shot making. Fun to watch.
la bretesche is an epic track!
Love how you all call Paul a tosser but he has the last laugh by nicking the coin and no one noticed ππ well done Joe havs watched loads of these and never seen any one this good
Thatβs real talent Joe. What a great contest ππ»π¦πΊ
Very good and over water, no bump and run. I think you have found something very good.
