Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!

I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.

On YouTube and my personal website ( I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.

Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble

I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

This golf lesson provides a couple of wonderful drills to help you hit your driver straight. If you are a beginner golfer and are looking for some golf driver tips that are simple and easy to do then you are going to love this.

I will show you the golf swing slow motion so that you can see what you need to do to improve.

We look at 3 things:

1. How to stop slicing your driver
2. How to swing more in to out or how to swing more inside out
3, How to get the correct impact position with driver

and I hope to do all this with simple golf tips so you can create an effortless golf swing

Thanks Danny, great video! I was wondering, does this apply to irons too or only the driver?

I know this an old video and I’m not sure how I stumbled on it. But I’m glad I did. I grip it in my fingers but like many books and videos I turn my left hand down to grip it in the fingers then I have to tinker to get it all “square” this is great and simple. Great video as always

    5. Hi Danny
Would appreciate you either showing the putter grip or referring me to a previous video title for me to reference and watch
      Kindest regards

You rock Danny! As someone new to the game and figuratively slashing my way through the jungle of how to hit a golf ball, you are like an expert guide to show the way. I'm making great progress thanks to your videos and I watch them over and over. You are a godsend as I feel that I'm on the right track. Thanks!!!

    7. Thanks Danny, your video is super great and really helpful !!

Awesome video. I have been working on this Danny.
Each time. I am striking the ball more solid on my long irons and woods.

    9. Most important bit of information right here 2:25

    14. Ken Reitzel says:

The drill of standing up into the grip is genius. I have also never seen anyone talk about the right arm being in front of the torso while gripping. I’m going to see if this fixes my hook. I watched 3 over your videos tonight and everything was described like a mechanical engineer would address it. Your videos cut out that unnecessary small talk. I also don’t watch videos that go more than 15 minutes. Anything after 15 minutes loses value. Peoples attention spans are not that long. Kudos Danny.

I can’t wait till 5 o’clock so I can get off work and head to the range to try a new grip

thanks Danny, tried this on course today took bit to get used too but def helped, I was thinking way too much about my grip and where it should be in my palms, thanks for the no bs , down to earth advice, have a great weekend

    18. HI Danny. I have been a student of the game since age 5 and I have not seen better explanations of how to swing the golf club. Your swing is so smooth. It seems you have the tension relationships exactly right. Could you possibly do a video on your tension-free swing and tell us how we can achieve it?

    19. Jon Wright says:

thanks for this Danny, gonna try tomorrow as my grip all over the place, tried interlocking etc but no joy , thanks for great videos and advice

    20. Michae Cicio says:

Am I child because i couldnt stop laughing 2:27 when he said Hookers tend to be on top 😛

    21. K says:

I tend to use a neutral grip with a slight fade

    22. Love your videos
      Question I’m new to golf
When you set the driver do you put it flat on the ground to line it up for your drive or more on back of bottom closest to your body ?
      Might be dumb question

    23. Jim Platt says:

Thanks Danny for a great explanation. I've definitely been over thinking the grip thing… My last round I literally tried 5 different grips and you can about imagine how consistent that round was. 🙂

    24. Great video but ~ What about the trigger finger?
