    1. PS I played today, Matt, and have started to use one wedge out of my two only, and have a clock system and have 3 different positions and differences with my Sand Wedge. I only have my 46 pitching wedge and 54 Sand wedge. This really helped about the height etc. I absolutely peppered the flag today. I might even give up my 7 or 8 iron pitch and run. Thank you.

Hey Matt love the content just wanted to mention that the volume in your videos can be a little low sometimes I wanted to bring it to your attention in case you weren't aware

    4. Always giving great tips with great explanation. Thanks for another great video mate 👍

    5. Cracking video, thank you, Matt. I have never thought about how much height i want. I have just had 80% weight on the front foot for everything, and played out of the center of the stance. The different ball positions and different turf situations have really helped. As a 25 handicapper and losing most of my shots around the green or putting, I only use a wedge if there is a height obstacle that I have to get over. Otherwise I use a 7 or 8 Iron pitch and run. Thank you.

Amazing short set of tips! Most important part of the approach game

    8. Love these tips. Thanks Matt

    9. Hey Matt – great video as always. I am (maybe) your furthest geographical fan from down here in NZ but am, at last, about to travel back to the UK. I have played Warrington a number of times pre Covid as I have mates who are members. Would love to come along and say "Hi" and even have the pleasure of playing a few holes with you? Cheers Phil

    10. Great video Matt, thank you. Chipping is my weakness and I stand over the ball worrying if I'm going to shank it, which I then do. Probably a technique issue. My chipping is getting better though and when you pull it off, it's a great feeling. Keep up the great content Matt.

do you choke down on the club while chipping?

    12. J C says:

That turf interaction is such a great thought to have – Thanks!

    13. Matt loved the simplicity of chips we are affrayed off , thank you , cheers

    16. Matt Hale says:

I think 9 to 3 hit the ball

    17. Robert Higgs says:

Great Video Matt, quick add on question… did you use the same club for all 3 types of chips? If so which loft? If not how did this differ?

    18. Zack Krohn says:

      Send this to Rick

    19. A very informative video on chipping Matt! I like your explanation on hitting out of different layers of grass! The thin lies probably frustrate me the most, especially if the flag is up front. On those lies and on the medium length grass do you recommend slightly opening the blade?

Thanks for this content Matt; it's really good stuff
      Cheers

The FED has lost it and the sad fact is it's pretty obvious we are headed for hyperinflation.i think stores better have tight security because when people can't afford to feed their families, things might get ugly.

    22. d4rkcult says:

awesome video. as a 20 handicapper i tend to have a lot of chips inside 20m from the green so being able to control these and get them closer to the pin will give me a good chance at some one putts.

    23. James Copsey says:

When you chip the ball through the green on a chipping video 🤣🤦🏻‍♂️ good info though. 👍

    24. Chris W says:

Why is all your uploaded content VERY LPW VOLUME. whenever I watch anything else is decent volume and click on you and need to boost the volume by 50%👍👍🏌️🏌️
      Please sort it

    25. Great tips Matt!! Around the green is my most inconsistent shot. I will try the new technique at my Monday round.

    26. B. Smith says:

thank you Matt. Was watching a video by PM- the guy on LIV Tour. He stresses hands forward, I note you did not mention that. You and him are consistent with ball position and you give extra detail about the turf interaction. Can you comment on hands forward ? Stiff wrists?

    27. Mark Sefton says:

Struggling with my chipping at the moment…Would you recommend going to a higher bounce wedge? I seem to be a bit more comfortable with my 58 14 bounce than with my 58 10 bounce, particularly of tight lies….Will using higher bounce limit my shot options?

    28. Great that have you as a coach!! Next time your in California tee time on me for all the great tips!

    29. MrMoanazoe says:

The amount of valuble information in this video compared to its lenght makes it pretty good. Well done, Matt!

    30. Matt: "Chipping made Easy!"

Rick: "And I took that personally."

    31. This helped a ton. Great video Matt

    32. Great stuff as always Matt, great to have that simple change in mind for the ball flight. Any chance that you can do some chipping tips on really tight hard lies? Going to play some links golf this summer (Royal County Down for one) and having trouble with these shots. Thanks!

    33. Great tips matt thanks!!

    34. Great concise video. Needed this. I've been happy to miss the green by miles so I can take a full swing vs a soft chip from 10 yards from the pin.

      Happy day Matt 🇮🇪🇮🇪
