Johnny Miller said this before Tiger entered the Pro Tour……
“The only thing that bothers me is that Tiger at 20 already has swing-related injuries and signs of a bad back even though he works out and is in buff condition. The combination of being wiry, strong and blazing fast puts a lot of stress on his spine. He weighs about 155 pounds and can carry the ball almost twice that far in yards. That’s almost unheard of. If you take a 350 Chevy smallblock engine and it puts out 400 horsepower, no problem. But Tiger puts out about 650. When you do that in a car, it’s easy to throw a rod.”

Meaning: Tiger is prone to injuries. The car accident further hampered Tiger Wood's situation.

  3. Just retire or stop complaining. Geez.

  4. Tiger always tried to use his spine, as an axil, rather than a lever.
Very much a victim, of misinformation!

  5. Go away Eldrick…good riddance to you.

He has done enough. Its time to heal if possible. Nothing is fun when you are in pain.

  10. Ed Lloyd says:

    Sorry but he’s done

You know Tiger would be best to play on the senior tour. I know he’s not 50 yet but if he focuses on his healing instead he will have a better chance to win events again. He’s not giving himself the time he needs to fully recover. Hogan almost died, had a broken pelvis and still came back with pain for the rest of his career to win many more events. Tiger is capable if he goes caveman for awhile!

  13. Jimmy Culp says:

Tiger changed the game, he made it COOL! However, injuries were not the only thing that derailed the pro?

  14. stratovani says:

In 2027 Tiger Woods will be eligible to play on the Champions Tour. Only three rounds per tournament, the courses are a little shorter, and he'll be able to ride a cart. He should quit tournament golf now, and let his body heal until he turns 50.

I love Tiger Woods. I have been a fan from the beginning. The last wreck he had was on a road I travel back and forth on and have for decades. I am surprised Tiger survived at all. But he is a fighter, a true champion in every sense of the word. I just don't believe it's over yet for Tiger. I agree, he needs a good long rest and he needs to deal with the reality of just to what extent his injuries has forever, impacted his game. Tiger is only 43 years old. He has the drive, the passion for golf. It's his way of life. I believe he will play until he can't play any more then perhaps he will do what Tiger does in a new and creative way. His mind is very sharp. I think that where there is great will, great passion for his game, his mind and body will work synergystically, to get his game back. You never know what's going to be next for Tiger Woods. I do think he will re-invent himself and be still one of , if not the best, golfer of all time. Cheers to Tiger Woods!❤
