Triple Threat Showdown: Garcia vs Fowler vs McIlroy | Every Shot

The final day of the 143rd Open Championship in 2014 has got to be one of the most exciting we’ve ever seen at The Open.

Heading into the Championship round, Rory McIlroy had a six-shot lead over Rickie Fowler and a further two-shot lead over Sergio Garcia in tied third.

The question on everyone’s lips was ‘could Rory go on to win his Open Championship?’

It was Rory’s to lose, as Fowler and Garcia piled on the pressure throughout, making for one of the best spectacles you could imagine. Royal Liverpool saw three of the world’s best golfers battle it out to emerge as the victor and lift the Claret Jug.

All three men gave it everything and we have compiled every shot from the Championship round, so you can experience the drama of the 143rd Open all over again.
