Bryan Kim of Brookeville, Md. squared off with Joshua Bai of New Zealand in the 2023 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship match on Saturday in Charleston, South Carolina. Play was suspended due to weather on the 26th hole of the 36-hole final and will be resumed on Sunday.

  2. Great match, both have very good swings. Joshua is a monster masher of the ball. The trail elbow is literally behind him on the downswing, which allows him to pin his upper lead arm to his chest really well. This produces a huge amount of lag and power. The angles maintained at the trail elbow and wrist is very good for a long time into the downswing. Right now is knee flex is too agressive in the downswing, but that will smooth out as he gets older.
