2024 WORLD EXCLUSIVE CALLAWAY APEX PRO LINE REVIEW

Today we have Johnny Wunder in the studio to go through the brand new 2024 Apex Pro Line of irons which are the Apex Pro, Apex CB and Apex MB.

The Apex Pro irons are a hollow body design in a compact players shape while the Apex CB and MB irons are each single-piece forged models made of carbon steel.

Working directly with tour feedback during the design. Average players now more than ever have to the ability to play exactly what the pro’s want.

Let’s see how Ian hits the new clubs.

Mr. Wunder turned me off of this video within the first 2 mins. Dude is insufferable. Also, getting rid of the TXG name? RIP.

  2. Kyle Peebles says:

Love it, boys! As an 8 handicap would I be okay with a Pro long iron and CB short iron combo?

  3. KMurf says:

sorry, I'm reading some comments about the brand name, who cares what names on what, enjoy the experience, enjoy the first viewing of this new line of Irons, no know cares what we think, 58 years old I had that thought out of my head 25 years ago people,Enjoy!! Like mom said,, if you don't have anything nice to say ,shut up!!

  4. KMurf says:

love it, ty boys, I game TCBs 6,7 2 degrees strong , I'm a low teen HC but believe it or not I can find the middle of the club face, and I don't judge by HC,I go to enjoy the beautiful course and be outdoors, anyway I'm a club golfer maybe once a week, I thought the Apex pro was to hollow soundings for me ,so TCBs it was, beautiful set of irons but wasn't crazy about the looks, feel and sound are the most important to mysef, anyway bla bla bla , ill be calling my Callaway rep, trade ins definitely, The pro in 5,6,7 and CB rest of the way!! could careless about distance, consistency the name of the game same height, spin, distance, ! I have the 6 to Aw in the TCBs I have Wilson Staff CBs 5 thru Pw and Mizuno pro 225 5 thru Pw I wondering what Callaway will give me in return lol lol !! love the content and who esle would they give the first reveal to ,of course you guys!! well deserved as always!!

  5. It would have been interesting to hear the concerns why they decided against “TXG: A Club Champion Brand”. I’m sure it had to have been discussed.

  6. Stevi says:

Is the game improvement one coming out. The apex regular

  7. ryzla_mm says:

Horrible channel re brand. Probably won't be following the TXG boys going forward due to this. The magic is gone unfortunately

  8. Disappointing rebrand tbh.

  9. luke jackson says:

I find it interesting when turf interaction is discussed. Generally the ball is off the face before the interaction takes place. Is it more relative to feel rather than function?

  10. GTFAN 99 says:

I hope they paid a premium for the name change

  11. Neil Gardner says:

Airspace used in golf club testing….stick to golf and leave the airspace to the Air Traffic Management experts!!

  12. Gota be a gee up , right? Say it isn't so! Well I hope they make you wear a cap and use a centre shaft putter Mr Frazier,

  13. Ramsin 69 says:

No “standard” APEX model anymore ?

  14. Dane says:

TXG could’ve been the “Genesis” to Club Champion’s “Hyundai”. No need for name change

  15. What a horrible marketing gig from Callaway. Stating right at the beginning that a club is designed for the best players. Wow! Those guys certainly won’t buy these clubs.

  16. John Genc says:

If the CB is softer than the current TCB, then im in. Looks like it might be given its a one-piece 1025.

  17. brian says:

TXG is making club champion not the other way around this is some B.S.

  18. Great video boys! Love having Jdub in the house too

  19. Jay Spot says:

Really excited for this Apex series. I played the X forged, liked the blade length but not the offset. I now play TCB to get less offset and accepted shorter blade length. The Apex CB really seems to be what I was looking for between X forged and TCB.

  20. This dude knows his stuff , ping guy knows his stuff. Why does Trottie from taylormade make everything seem like an AD lol

  21. stanley chun says:

Shouldn’t have wunder involved in a review done within “txg” or club champion confines. Especially when introducing Callaway products….

  22. quinton g says:

I thought I was on the wrong Chanel lmao. Not sure how I feel about club champion brand

  23. JustGettinBy says:

I love and support TXG and will always support these gents no matter what. Luckily when it comes to my new fit Mr. Laroche is just up the road!

  24. Great product video here. Love the banter and knowledge while hitting balls.

But man, RIP TXG brand 😢

  25. J W says:

If golf shafts can have premium boutique limited run products, does it not reason that Club Champion and fitting can have that in TXG??? No one believes they can have the consistency and quality that TXG has. It waters down TXG while not elevating Club Champion imho. It’s like Gordon Ramsey partnering with Texas Roadhouse! 😂

  26. I’ve had clubs fit at TXG Toronto and my local CC in Michigan. Both were great experiences. I do recognize people haven’t had as good experiences with CC but as long as Ian is still the leader at “TXG”, I don’t think anyone getting fit there has to worry about a thing.

  27. brett taylor says:

Once they bought TXG I stopped watching . This is even worse. Only horror stories from my buddy’s that have been to club champion.
