What does the Bible say about it?
And what are some practical takeaways from past experiences?

HELP! I need prayer for a job please… following instinct and saying no to a lot of closed doors but I just need something better to open up 😢

  2. You guys are definitely twins! I got double portion today. Thank you both for your obedience!

  3. Toni Torres says:

You focus/idolize the place, The path will only take longer 😢… I felt that… I was telling the Lord maybe I’m not where you wanted me to be right now because I’ve been so focused on a destination, an arrival point, the place. Still, my eyes start watering because even with my stubbornness and fixation being on a place, God has still blessed me with a beautiful path. The people I have met, the souls I have encountered, the friends and family that I can’t imagine my life without now. Even in my broken, fixed mindset, God has been a kind, merciful, long suffering Father. ❤ How can it be?
I’m trading my places, I’m trading my expectations, I’m laying them down for the PATHS with the Lord ❤ and the PEOPLE of the Lord. Yes Yes Lord! Amen! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

  4. i will watch this over and ovetr and 1000 times mohw

  5. Grace Nissi says:

We are meant to be people of path, lovers of pathway!!!!! LOVE this insight!!!! My path is taking longer but I realize it's all about path n time…!!! I bet my path is gonna be more delightful in Jesus name, as it is so far – Thank you Jesus.

  6. This was sooooo good!!!

  7. Gavn Smith says:

We always believe places are a destination when in reality places are found on the path towards the kingdom

  8. I consume You tube daily, on different topics but, this is the first time I had backed a video, open a notebook and start taking notes. Learning so much from you two. Blessings from Puerto Rico!

  9. Y'all two together is something nastyyyyyyyy!!! 🔥🔥🔥 message "The Promise Land" is work!!!

  10. Randy Belmes says:

Jesus Christ never stood in one place when he traveled, he was always on the path and he walked on that path and spent more time on that path then he did at the place he was getting to. God bless the both of you and god bless this podcast I love listening to y’all 🙏🏼💯

  11. Milk and honey only comes from squeezes and stings! Im framing that!
Took me a couple of days to play this coz I knew Tim was going to come for my wig! I need to really work on my work ehic,I have adhd and fear stunt my growth. Its good to know things don't always come easy to everyone – they usually put in a whole lot of prep work!
    Thanks twins!!

  12. I have enjoyed watching The Basement and The Leaders Cut so much over the past few months – thank you both for being so faithful and obedient to keep this content coming! Let me preface what I’m about to say, by saying this: I have no idea what God’s plan is for the two of you and how He intends to continue to use you both…I wish y’all were able to have your podcasts combined ALWAYS! I can only say that my “want” for this is purely selfish because I enjoy your friendship so much and how y’all talk and process God’s Word and lessons learned…it’s such a blessing. I truly believe your friendship is absolutely a mirror of what David and Jonathan’s must have been! Friendships like that are so very rare and you both know that and appreciate it. May the Lord continue to bless you both, your friendship, and your ministries!!

  13. Aisha Thomas says:

It’s time to fall in love with the path so you don’t reach a place you never belonged in the first place. Praise God for this GOODT WORD!!!❤

  14. Trying to apply this to my path as a med student applying for residency this year. Learning to let go of expectations and doing my best in the process, trusting that I'll end up wherever I need to be. In the meantime, I'll prepare.

  15. Oh my goodness, this is SO GOOD!!! The grit, The Path!! Thank you, Lord, for this Word! The anointed principle is what? My work ethic…

  16. byron davis says:

We talking about Practice!? Not a game. Not a game. Not a game. But Practice!… This all I kept hearing in my head during this episode. Lol.

  17. This word is relevant for the season I am in. I am addicted to the path and it has led me to beautiful places where "Scars of the sting is where honey flows".

  23. Sun Shine says:

When I received one of my greatest blessings from the Lord, there is a time of awe and gratitude. But a truth that remained in me is that God wouldn’t bring me this far, pull me out of that hell for me to just retire kick back and relax. But what is important is that I do not let society define my work ethic (aka hustle until your soul is depleted) I work for the lord and in the pace he tells me to and we know the pace Jesus took to perform the greatest work on Earth.

  24. Harrison11 says:

    This was a message🔥

  25. TiffanyT. says:

  26. Angie D says:

29:2430:15 – Amen – in my opinion if you don't rip that list (or R.I.P. it) you will be like Jonah!!

  27. Nicole Starr says:

Ok I finally looked up the word Anonymity and I’m glad I did. Now I understand. And I agree because now I see this path differently. It wasn’t always like that but these few months into my relationship with Christ is so much better, interesting and eye opening ❤❤❤❤.

  28. Irene Kaigo says:

    This blessed me tremendously

Twins, that was so good! Thank you for all that you do! I have learned so much from both of you and your guests (and Tim, from your crew as well)! Y’all are what this world needs right now. This world is to full of inferences and not enough talk about the process, so thank you for more talk about the process!! I love you like the brothers from other mothers that you are! 🙂💞
