    A key detail shown here is when the shoulders are rotating on their plane and the left shoulder is moving away from the ball -this is what flattens the bottom of swing. Plus it is the key element to release the lag. When you start to get your timing really on, you can swing really fast at the ball and get better distance. (Notice I did not write 'swing really hard at the ball' ? Swinging hard inevitably tighten your forearms, and it affects timing and distance.
