They look lovely irons. I previously did a similar combo set with TM, the issue i have with combo sets you end up with too big a yardage gap between the two sets, typically in the scoring clubs.

T150 as forgiving as P790? Or would the closer comparison be the T200- P790?

Why😂 got fitted for T100s and they arrived literally a week before they announced the new release. Still, love them, feel amazing and have plenty of distance.
But can't help feel ill be missing out with the new ones 😂
I know in the DTC market Takomo always gets the nod. But could you review the Sub 70 659 line up? I feel its similar to the T-Series on looks to forgiveness on forged irons.
I had the 2019 T300s, i tried my friends 2021 t200s and they still didnt feel soft. I ended up with the 921 JPX mizuno forged and they are so soft
What is the shaft you used on all these clubs?

Rick and Guy. As a long time subscriber to all things Rick Shiels I just finished listening to ep196 and it got to me when you said comments about your game in the content get to you. I wanted to say I have been playing golf since I was 6 and with work and family hadn't played for 5 years. I picked back up the clubs in January cause of the show and have just won my first local competition. Don't let those comments get you down and that's why I wanted to say thank you for getting me back into my game. Australian golfers thank you
Rick! Start off with the more forgiving irons on the next video. Your are a better player and will be more warmed up by the time you get to the “players” irons.
(? included) Hello Rick. Enjoyed this video. My bag is mixed with 2021 t100's and t100s' and love them. So this t series release interests me as you noted 100s and 150s flow so well together.
?Question – would you recommend my 68yo father to get fitted for maybe a mix of 2023 t series?
Thinking about next 5+ years especially with the shafts; flex and weight. At his best was a scratch golfer and 9 now. Maybe 10-12 years ago he had custom fit ap2s with proj x 5.5 rifles. Switched to TaylorMades off the shelf, didn't love them. Bought Wilsons with senior shafts and does not love them. I think getting fit could greatly benefit his game.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

Have you ever heard of byrdie golf designs? They have some really nice cheap irons. I’d like to see a review on them. They make some beautiful irons almost like takomas. I think they are $100 less than takomas

been waiting for this one Rick, needed to see the 150s and I was surprised you mentioned you think its a high single maybe low teens handicap (I am a 9). Want to get fit into Titleist but want to see what the 200s are suited for first.

T150 look great. I especially liked the impression of ease of swing speed to produce those numbers. I feel someone was making a combo set up his bag.
Amazing review! T200s have been my dream club and whenever I get an opportunity I go out to our local golf shop and give them a swing. I actually recently ventured off into the t100 series and realized I was swinging them a bit better…interestingly enough! I will definitely be keeping the t150s in my mind, might become a new dream club for me! Thanks for the review Rick, love this new channel and the content being put out!

Is there any difference between the T100S (2021) and the T150?
irons have not changed since 2001, Blades haven't change since golf began. Look at them very slight changes that make ZERO difference.
