Match started so late for us here in Canada which is 3 hours behind California, where the match was being played. Today I was toast but will be back again for the match tonight.
I think this game will make some of those U21s stronger, because of just how tough and physical the game was for them. You could actually feel the Difficulty of the game after the red card!
That ref 😂wtf ruined the game, an as for the keeper he’s young an eager an just wanted to make an impression an the occasion with that atmosphere affected his judgement there was no malice. Also on the kit I like it an it makes a change having a different kit every now an then.👌👌👌👌
So many stupid comments its almost as if most forgot it was our under 23's playing. There's no way casimero luke shaw rashford etc are getting physically outted by Wrexham. Our youngsters lost yes but the lessons they learnt that evening will be invaluable to them for the future
Why don’t academies teach football that is being played in lower leagues, clearly they where not expecting wrexhams type of play. Long throws and their effort to hustle players.
I think Dan Gore's boots helped get him sent off.

To be fair, Hojlund is 6ft3 and a unit! He's also got 2 years of 1st team football under his belt. MacNeill and Hugill don't have that. Doesn't mean they won't develop

My biggest concern is the boys moved the ball well, but much like 1st team, they struggled to find penetration and ability to find net. Looked like even in first 20 min, wveyrone wanted to dribble it in like Antony or Sancho. Is this a trait of Erik's system? Hope not.
