Branson Missouri Driving the Yellow Route

Welcome back to our exploration of alternate traffic routes in Branson, Missouri! In our previous episodes, we’ve driven the red and blue routes, and today, we’re hitting the road on the final route, the yellow route. Unlike the previous routes, the yellow route takes us through more in-town areas with plenty to see along the way.

Starting at the intersection of Highway 76 and Fall Creek Road, we’ll take a left turn onto the yellow route. Keep an eye out for the Lakeside Forest Wilderness Area on the left, offering breathtaking views of Lake Taneycomo and the Ozarks. If you love hiking, don’t miss our linked video on exploring this area!

As we journey along Wildwood Drive, we’ll pass the scenic Thousand Hills Golf Course and numerous hotels. Get ready for some family fun with indoor mini-golf at Coral Reef and Dinosaur Canyon. Craving Italian cuisine? Florentina’s Italian Restaurant awaits you.

Continuing onto Green Mountain Drive, we’ll encounter Pirates Cove mini-golf and various hotels before reaching the intersection with Highway 165. Here, you can turn left toward Table Rock Lake or right to the Branson strip.

But wait, there’s more! We’ll also take a detour along the east yellow route, a handy shortcut connecting to both the blue and red routes. Along the way, you’ll catch glimpses of Fritz Adventure and Dolly Parton’s Stampede.

Our journey concludes as we merge onto the red route and Shepherd of the Hills Expressway. Don’t forget to check out our other videos on the red and blue routes for more exciting Branson road trip adventures!

  1. Thank you for doing this series on the alternate routes. These videos are something every visitor should see before going to Branson. I never did much more than use the Yellow route to move between the Blue and Red on my last visit. I was mostly focused on getting to my motel near the end of the Blue route and getting to a show at The Little Opry Theater on the Red Route. I will try some of the eating places on the Yellow route next time.

    Thanks for the update 😊😊

  4. Another great POV video. I don't know if you plan to cover them, but visitors to Branson may like to check a map of the area and learn the locations of State Highways 376, 265 and 165 as alternative routes around Branson. Also great ways to get between Silver Dollar City, Table Rock State Park, Hollister and the Branson Landing/Downtown area.
