I had forgotten Jim did not win. So it is extremely arguable this is the best regular professional round ever.

Well said at the end. There’s no diminishing this. Regardless of the par now this course was a par 72 I believe that was converted to a par 7o but could easily still be a par 72. They just move these pros up a few yards.
What he did is truly incredible. Bryson has big ups and downs but the fact he was even thinking 54 to me shows Bryson probably has more of that tiger 2K mentality —as in domination—than anyone else in professional golf right now.
Absolutely spectacular. And the other big thing is no one would argue this is one of if not the hardest worker in golf.
So many lessons here for juniors. Play the front tees is great. But work hard and believe in yourself no matter how different you are. It really is a beautiful thing.
LOL along with the 2 other guys who shot sub 60 rounds at that cupcake ass course. 2 out of the 11 sub 60s round on the tour where at this bullshit, easy course.
