Most people should be playing 4500 or 5500 but ego gets in the way. Same way a lot more people should be playing senior flex or ladies clubs.

Love the idea. 🙂 You'll break 70 easily. In winter we often play from one of the forward tees to make it easier and fun to play. In all my years playing (which is a lot of years!) I honestly have no idea why so many golfers want to play one of the back tees without having the length or ability to do it. At my club, one of the courses is 7600 off the back and guys are scoring 100+ and I just think "what are you doing", play off the reds at 6,200!
Great idea! will give you a different perspective of the game on the same course as usual. Also good for short game practice. Would also be a good idea for some fun competitions!

When you think about it, from those tees you are just like the power hitters like Rory on the PGA, bomb and gouge. Wedges into greens on Par 4s, Short irons into par 3s. Puts things in perspective. Although I think about 5500 yards would be more comparable.
For the 4th of july our mens league will play a re/white/blue game ( 6 drives from each tee). Certainly gives you a different look to the usual course. Was this recent? If it was, you've reverted back to the ol' "head and putter move together" stroke. yuck. Im lookin ya shoot 67
Your putting is probably your weakest part of your game, if you could improve on it you would shoot lower scores.
Great video! Putting is not bad, but you are not making as solid contact as usual. Almost looks like you are pulling putts.

My senior league plays the tees just behind the front tees. Par 4's play between 300 to 390 yards, par 5 long would be 475 to 485 yards. Seems comfortable for (very average 67 yrs old) me. But our fairways are lined with live oak trees so accuracy is still a must. Cheers from Texas🤠⛳🏌️

I want you to play that course and tee box with nothing more than your Hy-Wood, 1 wedge and putter. I think you would shoot around par using only those 3 clubs.
Is there a Tee in front of the Yellows? Locally most Yellow (Senior) Tess are around 54-5500

Your putting seems to be improving but on one hole you struck the ball on the heel of the putter which is what you do when putting poorly.

Nice idea. Too many players want to play off championship tees when there game is not good enough. It just frustrates them in the end. I quite often will play off the short tees with just a hybrid, eight iron wedge and putter. Nice for a change.
