  1. Shot a 40 on 9 yesterday was about to beat my pr of 37 but I hit a pw uphill from 125 to pin but I drew it in and hit it about 140, leaving myself chipping from a downhill lie, caught it on the leading edge and ended up double bogey the hole because it came out low and rolled into front side bunker, then I 2 putted.

Would this same type of stance work for a fairway lie?

  3. but what if there is water or sand in front of you and you need to get the ball UP? I find that very difficult on a downhill lie, especially in the rough

  4. Ted Inoue says:

Thanks for the tips. These shots have cost me more strokes than almost anything else around the greens. Combine that with a thick rough and a pin about 4 yards from the fringe you've got a shot that I never make.

  5. Joe Cetani says:

    Great tip, very helpful

  6. yesterday my ball was in real low tight grass on a hill more than twice that steep going down to a front cut pin, the green was nearly as sloped as his bank. needlesss to say my next putt was from the other fringe

  7. Great video. As a relatively new player, this is one top of shot I was so lost on. Thanks so much for putting this tutorial together! Cheers!

  8. You should make another video on more awkward lies

  9. Golf Geek says:

Definitely practice this next time thanks 😃

  10. Hey guys i love the videos you put up and i play in tournaments soon and i am A freshman so i wang to show the coach i can play well by shooting better then a 60 on 9 holes so i need help with my rescue clubs and knowing how far my clubs can go please help soon. 😎🐢⛳️ #INEEDHELP and #MYSWINGANALYSIS

  11. Can you teach me/us how to hit the flop shot? Thanks Ethan

  12. Henri M says:

hi guys, the quality of the videos are getting better and better. I really like the way you explain things.
Regarding this video I like to comment should the ball not always initial land on the green, as landing on the fringe or before imbed the risk of stwierd bounces.

  13. Beeswax says:

Another great video, had this shot yesterday and used your tips and unsurprisingly gave me a better outcome with the shot

  14. Jon Clark says:

Great instructional video!! You guys are really giving me confidence that I can eventually become a respectable golfer

  15. xDALTRONx says:

good tip. had a shot like this in the rough last round and just opted to punch it low with a 5 iron. but this is a much better approach and better end result. good stuff

  16. Devin says:

I just started playing golf and I found this channel. Spent the last few hours watching videos. Love them! keep them coming!

  17. Adam Read says:

Good video, keep it up they really help people 🙂

  18. Paul Wakelam says:

interesting that there's another online coach that I've seen (no, not Crossfield, Finch or Shiels) that suggests the opposite – ball forward for a downhill lie and back for an uphill lie. I know which way I'll be following now.

  19. DaxterGG says:

I love your wardrobe you should link that in the description i would love to look as good as you guys on the course, but great video as always ! Keep it up

  20. MARIN Koza says:

videos are awesome, but i gotta say it, i can't find any help on pure curve shots, i hit it on the toe but it only curves right, same with heel but curves left, i have only seen a few that started right but then curved left(off the toe), plus i seem to have issues with club direction on impact, and i can't seem to get the club head to the right position when striking the ball, its ether too high, to low or i bounce off the ground just before the ball, all without leaning left, i do what i can to stay straight but always hit left or right of the driver, i have even hit middle but that has only ever happened when the club was too open, i can't seem to get it right, i keep practicing but can't seem to get a break through to progress any farther, i keep trying and quitting but at least i keep trying.

Whats the name of your new taylormade caps?

  22. Just the opposite with the uphill lie..correct?

  23. Great tip..most people don't realize where their club will be bottomong out if they don't shift their weight. Bravo

  24. Did anyone else laugh with that opening shot of them both tilted? I was chuckling through the whole video and didn't pay any attention. Had to watch twice.

  25. Great video guys, but you really need to roll the brims on your caps! It just looks like you grabbed them off the shelf of the Astbury pro-shop, with plans to return them once you've finished filming.

  26. for next challenge please do miniture golf

  27. Kr0pD says:

Loving the new Fowler cap stylie 👍🏾

  28. iJxck says:

If I come down to the astbury, could we play a round together?

  29. Aidan Boyle says:

Could you do a video like this but for an uphill lie?

  30. Great channel guys, I'd just suggest to improve your voice recording. As I am not a native english speaker I need your voice to be loud enough for me to understand what you're saying. Keep up the great work!

  31. Harry Wilson says:

Really good vid! Thanks for the help, Your videos are helping me improve so much as I'm a 15 year old who has only been playing for 5 months! And you are bringing my score down rapidly thank you! I hit my first 290-300 drive recently after watching you're turn your slice into a draw vid, really helped me out and straightened up my drives to stop the nasty slice!

  32. Kolo Touré says:

You guys should go to the mini links pitch and putt in lytham. All holes are par 3. I would really recommend it, it's great fun.

  33. Ralphdaddy says:

Thanks from a duffer who plays a lot of canyon golf courses that can be really hilly. Can't wait to get out and try this!

  34. Would be this be the same for a downhill full shot

  35. Fantastic video. That will really help me next time I am in that situation!!
