CHIPPING YIPS – THE JOLLY GOLF TRAINING AID REVIEW

Today I do a rare review on a JOLLY GOLF TRAINING AID (THE JOLLY)

Having being a scratch golfer that had a year of bad chipping yips, I know the PAIN!!

Jolly Golf claim the training aid will…
Perfect your swing
Improve your Putting and Short Game; from your putter to your irons!
Achieve the correct rhythm of movement
Limit incorrect movement in the hands and wrist
Ensure the proper rotation of the shoulder

I think should change the name of your channel to "Honest Gary's Golf" salt of the earth Yorkshire accent you know this guy is not lying

  2. sparkerino92 says:

How did you overcome your chipping yips mate?

  3. Another great video 👍🏼

  4. Thank you so much Gary 👍

  5. I agree Gaz. I get lazy and use my hands too much and quit using my arms and using rotation in my body.

  6. The story about your chipping yips sums up my chipping woes. I have chipped well in the past but I'm so prone to awful shots off a clean lie that I will usually (almost always) use a putter from anywhere within 20 yards of the green.
It feels like a mental yip but I'm sure that it is due to poor technique. To be honest I don't know where to start.

    Looks a useful aid

  8. I like the look of this. Would it work left handed? Can't figure this out looking at your vid.

  9. peter osgood says:

Good review Gaz, honest and to the point. It's certainly something I would purchase if I was chipping poorly and lessons weren't working 👍

  10. I have the yips … that is a hard no

  11. Jack Tate says:

Contacted them and they advise that UK delivery has stopped re Brexit.
They state that they are in the process of getting into Amazon and will therefore be available to UK once this is achieved.

  12. Glenn Palmer says:

As always Gary, a great honest video. I wonder if my playing partners will get the hump while waiting for me to put this aid on. (or should I just leave it on my club, will need a bigger golf bag 😂

  13. Steve-O says:

I just love watching this guy's videos – low key, unassuming, honest.

Great review Gaz. Keep these video's coming. I've enjoyed and learned so much from everyone of them. Thank you for making them for us. Have a great day!

  18. Joe Perez says:

Nice review. Despite having earned the nickname "Inspector Gadget" because of the duffel bag full of training aids that I've dragged to the practice range, I've never heard of the Jolly Golf.

  19. Great review, Gaz. Looks like a product that could help me .

  20. Bill Pilling says:

A pair of handcuffs will do the same thing. And theyre alot cheaper lol

  21. Rob Nevett says:

Is it really worth that money gaz or is there another chipping aid thats as good or at least pound for buck as good? ( the wrist clicker or ball between the wrist for example)

  22. James M says:

Those won't work with the Arccos! James would be the best test!

  23. Duffer Dave says:

    a great gesture, well done

  24. Neil Taylor says:

You'd hate me, love the use of the wrist to create spin/height with 54/60, can't say I struggle though

  25. That looks a great training aid and I have to agree, when you are really struggling with a part of your game I would pay anything to quickly cure it. Fantastic video Gaz and really well demonstrated 👏👏

  26. Very interesting. Training aids always amaze me. How do they come up with things?? Great video. See you Monday.

  27. Gaz you are getting better every week, loving the content

  28. Lexx White says:

Makes a lot more sense to me than most of the training aids that clip onto the shaft of a club. Nice review Gaz

  29. mmmm new wedge or a training aid…let me think…new wedge

  30. Gaz Carter says:

    great vid Gaz!!!

  31. Interesting tool. My question to you would be, what kind of drills could I do instead of getting that aid?

  32. Bazza Martin says:

    Great review gaz

  33. Kenny May says:

Looks good Gary;l think simple handcuffs would suffice.l m sure you have them in your basement…

  34. Spot on M8.
Great review, as a individual who has struggled thru the years with chipping as well.
Sent many many hours thru the years to fix.
If this will help people get the proper feel and swing I'm all for it.

  35. I switched to a chipper from less than 40 yards. Working great so far. Training aid might be good for me from 40-90 yards.

  36. nebraska39 says:

Good piece of kit as an investment for you and your clients maybe, probably a handicapped golfer would not part with the cash even if they chipped like a d**k, would not a small football or a towel under the arms give that feeling of connectivity? what do I know I chip like a d**k. I do like the varied content, rules (with Jules) aids, course management and now the 30 day beginner series, rather than boring club reviews, enjoying watching 🙂

  37. Travis G. says:

Crushing it gaz. Getting real pro on camera. Great video. An honest opinion is a trust worthy opinion!

  38. Joe McCauley says:

    nice honest review Gary

  39. Stephen Fox says:

Good honest review 👏 that's all people want .says a lot about it if you have implemented it into your lessons
