"Most Storied Franchise" lol! Only sad stories!

  2. Allstage Jim says:

Poor Sammy eating crow today. Based on the stats the Leafs don't even belong in this series, and already have been outplayed and outclassed. History is repeating itself here and Boston will win Cup regardless.

  3. Trent Walker says:

That's enough out of you Sammy. No more before Game 6. GLG!

  7. Put down the crack pipe Sammy, the most storied franchise title belongs to the Montreal Canadiens, they’ve won 10 cups since the Leaf’s’ last one.

Just play a whole game. Think only of playing a whole game. Until the final whistle. GLG

In 2022 we had Tampa on the brink in game 6: we lost

Guess what all those year had in common “it felt different”
I ain’t falling for it this time. I want them to win as much as any other Leafs fan, but I have zero expectations.

  10. 36:19 the thing is, a goalie can get himself to be better against teams that just try to beat him creatively, with skill.

But unless a goalies eyes all of a sudden gain the ability to see through bodies, it really doesn’t matter.

In other words, so long as the Leafs continue to clog up the net front, there’s really nothing Vasilevsky himself can do. It would be the sole job of his D to solve that problem, and it’s a tough problem to solve because if a player is intent on being somewhere in front of the goalie, with the current NHL rules, you really cannot clear him all the way out on an indefinite basis without incurring a penalty.

You can punish him, but if he’s willing to take those downward cross checks in the back, he can stand there all day.

  11. LETS GO RANGERS!!!!!!!
