Garmin Approach R10 Launch Monitor Review

I review another Launch Monitor today. The Garmin R10 has plenty of features for its 599$ price tag. Will it be my new Launch Monitor of choice?

  1. Have you tried the Rapsodo MLM2 ? Close to the same price point and had great reviews

I have had the R10 for 2 years now. All stats on all clubs except spin axis are within 2% of much higher priced units. I use mine into a net. I had swing caddie 200 before the R10.

  3. Thanks for the review.

I heard really good things about the Rapsodo MLM2Pro, especially after a lot of updates its had; should look into that as well. It's very accurate – step up from the R10. It's pretty much the gold standard for cheap launch monitors atm. And you can add reflective aluminum tape dot onto whatever ball you're testing for more accuracy.

From other reviews I’ve seen the new Rapsodo has it all. But not sure if you have to use their special balls for spin or if you can add the dots.

Strange that Garmin lead the way in many things and includes many things that others charge a premium for, yet if I hit 10 seven iron shots, I would want to know my average yardage. Good, honest review. Might make Swingcaddie think about things.
