  1. When I think of George Brett I think of his sharting story.

I also do not understand why Laugh-O~Gram is not historically preserved!!! You should visit Walt Disney’s birthplace in Chicago and give an update on that!!!

  3. JBM 209 says:

Did you go to the amusement park worlds of fun across the street

Adam buy that building and make it happen, too much history to let slip by

  6. When I was a baby, my parents lived in Independence. they were very young, and broke at that time in the 70's. I remember going to the stadium and sitting in the cheap seats in right field. It was the cheapest entertainment in the area. Now there is a fancy plaza out there with restaurants and bars. At that time there was only a concession stand and bathrooms. I have many great memories of this ballpark but there is talk of moving it into downtown KC. I think this is a horrible idea. This is the house that Brett built and they want to throw it away for more traffic congestion and less parking. The Royals won 2 World Series here, you can't throw that kind of history away!

  7. Walt wouldn't have ever believed what a disgrace his company has become. Not what he wanted at all. That's the sad part.

  8. Fee Massey says:

Has Adam ever seen the movie Walt before Mickey? It is really good and could be a good one to watch on the treadmill!

  9. I bet you will be the first Rays Fan to watch the Rays as the away team at every ballpark in baseball.
That will be a solid accomplishment.
    Play Ball!

  10. Dick Monti says:

Adam, Mickey Rooney always claimed that as a youngster, he stumbled upon Walt in his office in that building, and Walt really liked the name Mickey and told young Rooney that was going to be the "mouse's" name.

  11. Cassie Hub says:

Hahaha the Shining reference again.. I was totally thinking the same thing right when you started saying it 😂

  12. Bo knows!! Bo is the reason I became an Auburn fan. I had the pleasure of meeting him a few years ago, and he still looks like he could suit up and play. He’s a super nice dude. Enjoying the stadium tours Adam!!

  13. TyJM0 says:

That hotel is so bad. It's had a horrible reputation for the longest time

  14. CalBob750 says:

Even the original Colonel Sanders restaurant has been restored.

I remember the excitement and anxiousness of you driving through that snow storm in Texas… I guess we always know you alright because we’re watching the video- I loved the ‘no matter what happens at least I’ll be Caffeinated !!!!

  17. Anthony Rowe says:

Have you been to Truist Park yet Adam?

  18. I was at the game where George Brett got his 3,000th hit (@ Angel Stadium in Anaheim). Fun fact: he was so caught up in the moment, he was picked off at first base.

  19. Bo Jackson was my son's favorite too. Back in the late 80's he signed an autograph for him after a game. George Brett wouldn't sign.

  20. Adam I agree Disney should pay for the renovation of the building. It is a historical Disney landmark. Thank you for trekking there multiple times in the past decade and sharing the history with us.

  21. Nan K says:

Hope you don't get poison ivy in all the weeds behind the Disney building

  24. Scott G says:

People in KC go to that neighborhood for drugs. I live 20 minutes south. I'll never go. Doubt they would be interested in a disney museum. Not a good part of town at all. Adam was there in the morning. Makes a difference.

  25. DisneyMama says:

I totally agree with your assessment of the Laugh O Gram building. It's truly sad. If Walt were still here, I think he'd love to see that turned into a museum. Glad you survived the storm. Thanks for the video.

  26. What is this a stadium for ants?

  27. Dan Sorrow says:

Great stadium tour! Glad you made it back to your hotel before the storm hit.

  28. That scene in the hotel was spooky with the lights out, The Shining. That's sad that the Disney studio hasn't been preserved. That should have been the main priority. I mean that's really the birthplace there. Thanks Adam.

  29. Ron Davis says:

    That was great tour

  30. JD_82 says:

  31. Strider66 says:

Back in February, U.S. Rep. Emanuel Cleaver II presented a $2 million check to Thank You Walt Disney, Inc.

The money comes from Community Project Funding Cleaver secured for the historic studio.

  32. Michelle B. says:

Hey Adam, you may want to chat with the people at Kansas City Art Institute (my child is a student there) Walt took class there and the building he did so is still on campus. Google it. There is some information out there.
