Dom what’s not to get? I agree with Matt, aspiration is huge. Most people aren’t realists, and if they were then companies wouldnt be selling premium golf balls to the masses like they are. The pro v1 wouldn’t sell as good if a golfer out there wasnt aspiring to be better. Eg. I have a golfing friend who thinks he needs to play a premium ball to optimize the most out of his game, when I know full well he needs to get better first before he can optimize what the ball can do. But he wants to get better and be able to put cheese on the ball in the future. Optimists and ego are what these companies feed off of.

The Majors have to adjust because more players will join Liv golf in the future from the PGAT. So they have to adjust. Ppl keep running off the assumption that no one else is leaving the Tour
Hey guys love your show. I’m 73 and lose about ten yards a year. I sure don’t need to hit it shorter by hitting a shorter ball. I play PXG clubs and I use the top golf balls and I’m happy with my equipment. Do not want to move backwards. I really think it will hurt the guys that hit it 280 ish than the bombers.we all buy new clubs to hit it five yards farther, and to be honest it usually doesn’t work out for us. The pros are athletes and work hard to stay in shape and clubhead speed is why they crank out those drives, love seeing them hit it long,

When choosing a ball it should be chosen on what perform/feel best when putting/chipping/pitching. That will cut more stories than trying to get more distance through ball tech.
Dom, the starting point of any reasoning is 1) golfers are delusional 😂. 2) during every 18 hole round we will hit a shot where we are as good as Justin Thomas. 3) …and if given the opportunity, we might mortgage the house to have Bones caddy for us Lesson is don’t try to find logic in golf. If Majors don't change or drop OWGR and remember they are a huge part of them ,4/7th of board what makes them different from Elevated events ? Majors need to wake up if they want to remain premier they need to be the best field not another PGAT field .
