Summer seems to be here for a brief visit, so we jumped at the chance to get along to Rocky Bay – its always full of magical surprises, amazing sea glass and so much more! Sun , sea & sand… here we come!

After the storm – it looks as if the sand has been washed out, only to be replaced with seaweed… but there is still plenty of shoreline to hunt for its hidden treasure!

Craig has his eyes set on something special – a star find for the day, and he is not disappointed!! Its no golf ball today… at first we think the football will be the highlight of the day, but then Nicole spots wee Odbody, the angelic duck! Its a one of a kind find for sure!!

But Nicole is set on finding wee jewels of glass from the past and there is such an abundance of that here that we are spoiled for choice! As the sea begins to wash ashore on the incoming tide, we look at our findings and head off to design unique jewellery for our etsy shop… But today, its been more than a treasure hunt – we’ve made a new ducky pal – who knows when you’ll see Odbody again!

We hope you enjoyed today’s video… Thank you so much!

When my children were younger we would tell them that the coloured glass on the beach was where the end of the rainbow had touch the ground and that it was treasure ..we collected it and put in our fish pond for the fairies at the bottom of the garden

Get in the Hamilton Accies team with that footballing Craig(East fife 4 Forfar 5 remember that one), work your magic with the big blue sea glass, 21c in Wales, 6.30 that sea glass is like a guitar pick(works well with jewellery), when you said macabre was that rubber duck – LOL, great lucky find with the heart-shaped stone(no brainer with the jewellery), productive day again ! Nicole correcting Craig with the stopper, if she finds one the Snoopy dance!

  11. Your piece of metal is an exhaust manifold clamp probably from a motor cycle, but well done on the gorgeous sea glass you both found πŸ˜πŸ˜˜πŸ’–

  17. Barry Bark says:

metal object is an exhaust flange bracket from a motorbike engine. the other metal piece looks to be aircraft alloy

  18. Love the variety of glass colors. Great place to hunt. Keep on having fun. & Thanks..

Paddles, the Angelic duckling. (Yes, I know thats utterly ridiculous, thats why I like itπŸ˜‚)

  20. Juney Shu says:

My theory…when youve lost your marbles you can no longer play with the group so you are unable to compete or participate. ?

  21. Hi Nicole and Craig,
What a haul of gorgeous pieces of sea glass and mermaids tears!
The tiny pieces are my favourite ones. 😍
I really love hearing the sea on the back ground, it's so relaxing.
"Saint Duck" πŸ˜‡ really is the star find of the day! I'm glad you took him home. He can be your lucky charm. 😁

Hahaha I like the idea of a Rubber Duck Toss as an Olympic sport! πŸ˜†

  26. your necklace is so gorgeous!! the sun really lit it up so nicely!

  27. Blue mermaid tear perfection πŸ’™. Really like the metal item as well. It looks like an eye with lashes to me. Nothing beats the angel duck though.

I thought bull dozer machine dug up the beach! Then realized those were cool rock ledge low in the ground. Pretty cool to me. Ugh I just love your searches at these wonderful places! My head gets to escape to another land for a moment

  29. Beautiful sea glass.

  30. Thank you for making these interesting and entertaining films of collecting sea glass. I looked on line to see if a licence was need to collect from the beach or mudlarking in scotland. It said it was a crime to collect stones, sand, sea glass etc from the shore. This confused me as a lot of families collect sea shells, sea glass, pebbles or drift wood as a momento of a happy time. Can you let me know what the rules are or if a permit is needed please. My grandchild would be sad if we were not allowed to add to our collection of tiny sea glass on display in a jar. Thank you if you read and answer this question. Regards christine

I think you should call your duck β€œpuddles”, lol

  32. Tina Cluff says:

I spy with my little eye (I hope 🀞) a cornflower-colored piece of glass at 8:26 (ish) near the end of the bone pointing north. I also think I spotted a blue piece at 11:56 to the west of your pinkie. A yellow piece at 13:17 north of your finger by a common brown rock. Not sure if these are the same ones you picked up or not, but I thought I'd play I spy with you today. Man, I thought the stopper was a black rock. Loads and loads of green, but I kept seeing yellow and wasn't sure glass or shell piece.

What an arm! Hole in one! πŸ˜‚ ⭐️ Finds. Ducky is cute.
Nicole your jewelry is always beautiful. Forever pieces to keep. Love it. Thanks guys for a wonderful day out & great finds. β™₯️

  34. I am jealous about all that sea glass. And the metal object could be part of a Lenzpumpe in German. The lower part which goes into the water. The ribs protects it from sucking up big things from the water. It's flanshed to the motor part. Just a guess as Craig said it could be boat related . Thanks for taking us along to the beach.

  35. Loving the music and the awesome finds wishing I was there with you looking for some for my vases ❀️‍πŸ”₯β€οΈπŸ©΅πŸ’™πŸ€—πŸ₯°πŸ˜˜πŸ‘amazing star find love the duck ❀️‍πŸ”₯β€οΈπŸ’™πŸ©΅πŸ€—πŸ˜˜
