Does anyone know why the Internal out of Bounds was not part of this "Open Package"? As many have said… the 3rd hole without the OB is barely a hole.
Additionally the roll out off tee shots is beyond ridiculous- c’mon EA please watch the actual Open this week and then fix these ball physics
Ok, so this is the 2nd time I’ve seen very unrealistic ball physics in this game – 2nd shot on 2nd hole from heavy rough/fescue could not 2 hop and hold that green… even a wedge would not have enough backspin from that lie. I saw a similar shot from LACC on 14 I think where a ball held from heavy rough that would have had no chance. I hope EA fixes this at some point before I get the game

Can be lowest-scoring major. The R&A set em up fair and then the weather determines the score. You can get some proper mad weather at The Open sometimes.

I really really love this game, clocked in roughly 200hrs thus far. I would appreciate some new players added to the roster, otherwise I can’t fault it. Fantastic content, you’re a beast at this game.

A friend of mine talked about this game and talks computer golf all the time. He makes it like he's playing real golf and I doubt he leaves his house much on weekends. Checked this out and OMG get a life people and go outside and play real golf!

The update is bugged. No XP is being awarded at the end of the round, and no tournament selection.

Apex you should try to play a round with just iron of Tee shots like Tiger did at hoylake in 2006 open championship.
Is normal when starting a career at amateur level the AI is winning tournaments with -9? And I know I’m not great but I’m scoring Evens, seems to be taking the fun away when the AI keeps getting silly low scores that professionals would score, and I’m playing amateurs??

When did they change it from "The British Open" to "The Open"? I dont like it. Ill always call it "The British Open". It gives it character to announce where its at…..otherwise it sounds like it could be anywhere and anything — a tennis tournament or a frisbee football competition. Come to the quad and play in "The Open" – our beer pong tournament.
If they really wanted to give you the experience of playing Royal Liverpool, at least at higher difficulty levels, they needed to make the punishment for missing the fairway, and ending up in the high stuff, EXTREME. Ive watched some youtube golf channels play the course this week and going in that rough is a DISASTER. Its like 1 to 2 foot high hay, some of which is so thick you can see your ball. You often have no choice but to literally hack it out 10 yards back to the fairway — On the highest difficulties, it should be like that in the game. That would make the course fittingly challenging.
Do they mean turn based match play will be for online matchmaking too?
