I could really see your swing was a lot more tentative with the old driver. I wonder how much you talked yourself out of swinging freely.

  2. The "GoTo" driver in my bag is still my trusty Callaway FT-3 Fusion Tour. I hit the ball straighter than the guys in my group using drivers with newer technology, however I do give up about 15 or 20 yards. Not worth buying a $400+ driver for the slight difference in total yards.

I just upgraded from a TM titanium bubble 2 to a Honma TW 747 and have been extremely happy with the performance of the driver even though there were a few sub par reviews. The ease of getting the ball to carry 285+ and the forgiveness is the biggest thing I have seen.

  4. Good fun head to head, really enjoyed it

Do it again but tee the ft3 higher

  6. Well done……toe strikes can't be nearly as stable as modern clubs…..even with ballspeed being close , it shows what happens on misses…..low knuckle divers….
