Thanks man, I took out my driver, woods, 5iron, and sand wedge, lob wedge… played my best round ever.
My personal best is one over par and I did it with five clubs.
Driver,5,7,9 iron and putter.
how about you play 4 rounds of golf with 2 rounds of even clubs then 2 rounds of odd number clubs such even numbers 2,4,6,8 w s l putter and then go play with 1,3,5,7,9 w,s,l putter then take note of your score each round
Most people will do better if they also leave the 3wood and 60degree in the car where they won't tempt you to try for par 5s in 2 or unnecessary flop shots.

My granddad, who played as an amateur at two PGA tour events a long time ago, told me if I want learn to course manage, take less clubs and challenged me to play 9 holes at the little course here at home, with my 9 iron. I think I shot somewhere around a 50. But it helped me learn to manage the course.
You should do play golf with 4 clubs.
Exactly what I use to do. I have even / odd days.
even days: 4, 6, 8, PW, 56Wedge out of bag
odd days: 3Hy, 5, 7, 9, 52Wedge out of bag
Untouched clubs are my: Driver, 3W, 60, Putter.
It trains me to have control over my golf swing (full swing & 80% swing).
